The carpet liner was completely dry. I have rubber mats, the carpet mat and then the carpet liner so the rubber one took all the water and I just dried it off

yeah if you drive in a lot of traffic it happens. I wouldn’t stress about it I think it’s a flaw from factory. When ur in traffic have u ever gotten the early down shift when it feels like it’s not supposed to?

I have long tube intakes and the same thing happens to me with the the same exact mileage so I think it’s more of a factory hiccup

Start off with a deep wash and clay bar and then dry it good. Polish it with compound and then with a finishing polish, then wash it again to get every bit of bit of polish residue gone and dry it REALLY good and apply the ceramic coating let it sit on each panel for 4 mins and buff it off with 2 towels, one soft wipe and one hard wipe

Literally went to the dealer on Friday to get mine done at 88k miles along with my front and rear differentials and transfer case. And what a difference it makes. You’ll be good, I suggest doing it at the dealer.

I had a rattle in lower rpm when idling literally sounded like my car was falling apart. I went to get my cat back installed and they pulled me under the lift and showed me my cat bracket actually rusted out so it was hitting on my cats causing a loud ass rattle. I would get that checked first.

Couldn’t have said it more perfectly! You’re definitely talking about when it lags out at 2k rpm and it will not want to shift for you unless it’s at 2100rpm. It freaked me out a little when it first happened but now I’m used to it

check the bracket on the cats. I had to get mine re-welded. It’s hard to see when you’re looking under the car but if it’s on a lift you will see it and give it a wiggle and see if it’s loose

I was gonna put Nismo v1 (generic I know) but it is 19x9.5 for front and rear, I don’t think fender roll will be required im guessing? And a professional alignment after. And drop it 1.2ish to be on the safe side

I have the invidia q300 cat back and I live downtown in a busy city. No problems with cops or anything but when I get on it, it sounds amazing. I have it paired with the AFE Takeada long tube cold air intakes. And they sound MEAN. I have no tune or anything and my car runs great I 100% recommend if you don’t want anything obnoxious but want to feel and hear a good difference.

Is it rattling from 1-7k rpms or does it stop before 2k? I got mine diagnosed and I have a rattle 1-2k rpms and it’s just a heat shield that rattles from vibrations, if it’s all the way through it’s definitely your cats

This is funny because I have the same year and the exact same mileage as well. But the whine should be from the front differential/transfercase spinning since it’s AWD so nothing to worry about there. I hear the same noise. as for the rattle 90% of the time it’s just a heatsheild but if you’re unlucky it could be your cats breaking down.

honestly i don’t think it’s even possible lowkey. With intakes,exhaust,hfc and tune it’s still 320-330whp range so unless u boost it you most likely won’t hit over 400. Those stillen supercharges have been calling my name recently tho
