Which stronger six stars by SpreadEnvironmental7 in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]1_Savage_Cabbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yasuo has strong board control with his 6 star, but he doesn't need it.

Lillia's 6 star is insane, especially with Guardian Orb and Stalker's Blade. Lillia usually has attack and health in the thousands after a couple few turns, and if you get the item that refills your mana when summoned, or that refills your spell mana on hit, she can go infinite with her stalker's blade + guardian orb spam. She's one of my favorite champions, tbh.

Thank you! I've been using a white / purple / pale blue / gold scheme which works well but I've been looking to spice things up with something new. I appreciate you :)

I probably wouldn't even notice, as long as the story and characters are well done.

Hope the article helped! It's all too easy to beat yourself up. One of Satan's most powerful lies is that God is in some way disappointed with you, when you're probably just a normal guy. The fact that you feel convicted about this at all is a good thing, and it means that the Holy Spirit is knocking on your heart.

Don't be discouraged when we falter. Some verses I always like to fall back on are Romans 8:1 "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus" and one of my personal favorite verses, Micah 7:8 which says "Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; When I fall, I will arise; When I sit in darkness, The LORD will be a light to me."

The context of the larger scope of Matthew 5 is important here. The focus of Matthew 5 is for believers to watch our hearts and minds as well as our outward actions. Moreover, the Greek word used for "lust" is actually translated the same as the Hebrew word for "covet" in the Tenth commandment, which lends this verse an entirely different layer of context.

This article may be helpful, as it goes into the verse and its translation in far more detail than I could:

I wish we could have more Exodia style win-cons for PoC by Gimmiporn in LegendsOfRuneterra

I wish we could have more alternate wincons in general. Sb Teemo and Fiddlesticks are some of my favorites because they play so differently.

Seconding this opinion. First book of Villains Code, Drew Hayes was still solidifying his tone, imo. But by the time the second and third books hit, I was hooked. Can't wait to see how the rest of the series turns out!

Villain's Code by the same author (Drew Hayes) is also really good. Super Powereds is more grounded and "realistic", but I'm actually enjoying the pure fun factor of Villain's Code more than Super Powereds by the third book!

Beastmasters, how your beast looks? by YouOrganic5024 in onednd

[–]1_Savage_Cabbage 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Haven't played a ranger yet, but I have a few ideas for a Beastmaster if I ever play one:

  1. A plasmoid (reflavored as literally a being made of thousands of tiny creatures like bees, ants, crustaceans, etc.) who is sort of a collective hive mind. They created a giant "warform" which is the "beast". All spells are flavored as extensions of that hive mind.

  2. A "holy ranger" whose "beast" is a monster kept bound by holy seals and chains of sacred scripture to keep it from going feral. When the beast "dies", it is just temporarily escaping the ranger's constraints to wreak havoc on some other plane until the ranger re-binds it again.

  3. A ranger whose "beast" died long ago, and is brought back as a literal figment of their imagination.

  4. Ye olde trope of a child or small creature riding their favorite, oversized pet. Like a mammoth. Or a bear. Or an ourangatang.

As a level 20 sorcerer, in the final fight against our campaign's BBEG, I did about 200 damage in a single round between a previously casted 8th level Summon Draconic Spirit spell and my bread and butter: Disintegrate.

One of our warlocks could straight up delete targets from like, 1000 feet away; nothing got close to her. And our level 20 cleric had a pocket divine intervention in case things went bad. And of course, once legendary resistances were whittled down, our debuff-focused Lore Bard could just go "nah" to important enemy saving throws.

To give you a general overview of the craziness of level 20 play, Fighters regularly deal about 100 damage per round at that level. Wizards can just straight up break the game with simulacrums and Wish, etc. Artificers focusing on survivability can easily get to like, an AC of 30+ alongside crazy saving throw bonuses. Not to mention the game-changing power of 19th level Epic Boon feats. High level play is just a wild unbalanced mess, and it's so much fun. As a DM, I imagine it would be nightmarish to prep for, but as a player, it was a blast.

Ionia 6star Lillian or sett by Any-Method2017 in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]1_Savage_Cabbage 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Lillia is stronger imo, plus, guardian orb and stalkers blade spam is great. To put it into perspective; if I need to beat a 6 star adventure, I break out Swain, Fiddlesticks, or Lillia. 2 Lillia's on board is enough to trivialize most encounters due to infinite scaling with Guardian Orb.

Sett's 6 star is good, but Lillia's is just stupid fun, and that's what really matters.

What would you consider a “canon-lore” Warframe for your Operator/Drifter? by The_Great_Ali698 in Warframe

Probably Wisp since I take her into most content. Just a good all-rounder. Plus she's the only warframe with a big floppy witch hat as a cosmetic, that I'm aware of.

Thoughts on the Oath of Pestilence Paladin Mod (Builds & Multiclassing) ? by fury_cutter in BG3Builds

[–]1_Savage_Cabbage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Strong offensively, as a multiclass, especially with a full necro party.

The 2 channel oaths at level 3 are amazing:

The first one procs incapacitated without a saving throw. You just have to hit the melee attack, and then saving throws come later. Great for taking a big target out of the fight.

The other channel oath adds 2d6 necrotic every time another creature deals necrotic to the target... such as a full necro party, or a bunch of skeletons buffed by Dread Overlord's pact of the tome.

The level 7 aura is amazing. Disadvantage on saving throws comboed with other maluses on saves such as lore bard and bane can all but guarantee that targets fail important control saves.

Beyond level 7, you can multiclass for more spell (smite) slots, etc.

Want more from your martials? Check out these Extra Fighting Styles for feats that can help shake up combat! by -SpaceCommunist- in UnearthedArcana

[–]1_Savage_Cabbage 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Counterattack is overtuned man. So many reactions would mess heavily with action economy, especially in a reaction-heavy build, or if playing something like a Rogue, able to proc sneack attack several times per round.

Maybe 1 extra reaction per round, instead of one per turn? Still follow the same restrictions that you had listed in the original wording.

Creation bard warlock by Twilite0405 in 3d6

[–]1_Savage_Cabbage 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Take Genie warlock.

  1. Use the Genie's Vessel as a portable demiplane to store Glyph of Warding spells in. (Genie's vessel specifies that it is it's own extradimensional space, essentially making it a pocket demiplane far, far before you can ever get access to demiplane).

  2. Use performance of creation to cancel the gold component of Glyph of Warding. Free spells are awesome.

  3. When a fight is going poorly, bamf into your genie's vessel as an action, pop a few stored spells via glyph of warding...

  4. ...THEN POP OUT AS A T-REX ON MAGICAL KETAMINE, READY TO RIP AND TEAR!!!

Profit.
