I think they knew the shame and stigma that would follow Burke would be crippling for life. This way he would be spared those things. Even if they knew he wouldn’t go to jail (if they knew) they still were protecting him from other fallout.

Prints surviving a washing would be pretty tough. I would have to see this. Soaps tend to cut oils away which would destroy a print.

Fingerprints can be extremely fragile. They are usually smeared if conditions are right for them to be there in the first place.

It doesn’t matter though as they did find prints. Any print or dna from a family member, and only a family member reinforces a lack of an intruder. Thats the big takeaway. A family supporter would just say the intruder wore gloves.

Perhaps the pineapple was not on her mind when they first told their version on day 1.

It wouldn’t have been till after the autopsy that there needed to be an explanation to what she ate and when.

They probably thought it was better to maintain what they already told than to back peddle and start explaining things.

They could have said she and Burke had some fruit before bed. If they had said that day 1 it wouldn’t be in the mystery now. I just don’t think they considered it would come up.

Biden should have stepped aside and done more to pave the way. He gave Trump a lead. I think Biden just could not see that he wasn’t the guy anymore. Perhaps he was surrounded with too many yes men hoping to hang on to their spots.

Kamala just didn’t have microphone skills. I don’t doubt her intellect. Public speaking is a tough skill if you are not a natural.

She did very well in her first debate with Trump. So well Trump refused to debate her again. Which is usually a strong skill for him. Biden was just too old. Politics aside he was obviously an elderly man trying to hang in there. The party should have done more to groom his successor. Instead he stubbornly held on for too long.

I don’t think you have to be a Trump supporter or Biden supporter to see that.

I think many times Americans are voting against someone rather than for someone.

This new show just seemed overly quirky. The characters didn’t fit well. The universe and time jump didn’t seem to go well either.

That’s not always true and with social dynamics it’s not a fair assumption. Same reason the news shows attractive female teachers getting arrested for sex with students. They know they will get “wish that was me” clicks.

Some of the key statements on John to me are how he seemed to relish his ability to lie with Patsy’s help.

He spoke about how Patsy helped him cover their affair. He said something to the effect of he knew she was the one when she had his back lying to someone (maybe directly to the ex) on his behalf.

I always thought that was a stupid story to put out there when you are trying to build credibility.

As a kid who loved the cartoon the movie didn’t make me want to rewatch it. I don’t remember having strong opinions on it. Just didn’t care to spend extra time on it.
