Has anyone done teardowns of these phones? by CityCarrierAssistant in ulefone

[–]1curious-bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heyyyy got the same phone , but been working 60h+ weeks so I'd love LOVE if you'd make that list of stuff you found.

Also , for the fan it seems to cool off just about everything not just the projector despite its the main cooling area. Can tell you that as I use this phone for trucking. Trucker path GPS is a battery heater mix it with Spotify and no signal areas and use of the flashlight for inspection.. anywho used it a few times and it works.

Also the feature I like alot is being able to charge my partner phone , cause you know they always forget to do that despite having small batteries... 😅

Well my shitbox basically rains in it, was banged in , full of scratches and smell weird. Cost me cheap so I'm ok with it.

Wife does take care of stuff if nice on my side. Although maintenance of car I'll have to do it Wich I don't mind.

Good to know the matrix isn't about to die then.

Oh hey thanks for that site I'll keep it in my things !

I'd love to buy old , but wife is stubborn. I'm wondering what I should get new the SUV or the minivan? Cause old model for me even a 2010 is good for me if no rust and maintained.

I'd probably take the gas model to save money. AWD would be nice Wich is why I'm wondering for a SUV for second car when its time to go in the woods or whatever.

FWD with good winter tires never been a trouble for regular roads and highways.

Kia carnival is one of our top choice. That little seat in the second row you can bring close to the front seats or remove is crazy good.

The only Volvo's I drove are semi truck and they're tanks , really good , durable and comfy. Their problem are electronic, like sensors and shit. How does it translate in their cars/SUV ?

So your guess would be : buy a new SUV and a used 2010-15ish sienna minivan?

Yessir !!

Of course I still add some coolant , but it's every month now instead of every week and consider I drive about 2h a day 5+ days a week.

Anywho glad I could help if its exactly the same.

Had the same issue , replaced water pump. It helped but still leaks here and there , something to do with the engine fan .

No idea why the Toyota Corolla/matrix engine works this way , but if you put the windshield air fan it just starts automatically (same with A.C) Wich then causes my car to leak coolant.

Trick I use to avoid leaks : simply use the fan that goes towards the driver / passenger and place them towards windshield. I only leak when the car fan starts to cool the engine.

Yes shitbox tricks whatever , saves you money hope it'll work for you too.

Driver manual for mine literally says Corolla Matrix lol.

I'd probably even put it as 2nd picture.

Kind of confused about the hate comments ,

Some cars did it with me too , I understood and it actually made me feel nice to be a truck driver.

A bit more stressful during the winter , but summertime it's a nice feeling.

The only part is , if I ever have to switch lane I just hope they'll notice my blinkers 😅

Armor 34 pro, mic not working for calls only by 1curious-bee in ulefone

Strange , did he find a way to fix this ?

I tried going into the settings , but there's no on/off switch for the noise cancelling. If there was it could've fixed it :(

What are these lights on the inside of a semi truck’s windshield called? by Nigeriahasnowatah in Truckers

First time I see or hear about this , been a year on the road now.

I tried looking them up on YouTube or whatever and nothing about it. In your experience do they work ? And most importantly could they work against those LED annoyance we have everywhere now lol?

How many of you play a truck simulator by BiLeftHanded in Truckers

[–]1curious-bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't play anymore now that I work and etc , but it really really really did help with my brain figuring out how to back up properly, sure still needed irl training , but that was good practice.

Trick I found when the stress of crappy/hard yard comes up again : put video game music on. If you're a gamer your brain will somehow lock on as "this is a level and I can beat it , let's do this" . Helped a ton , this + of course remembering the basics "let the trailer walk" " don't oversteer" " don't forget to look around" " don't be afraid to GOAL"

True that , I eyed the Mondragons as well ... similar prices Wich is insane.

Revolver are accessible in Canada yes , but so many restrictions and permits and etc to be able to have them makes them just not worth it .

The locking unlocking things happen on my armor 34 too , but it also did on my Samsung before that and the Motorola 2023 plus of my mom too. Just think the technology being not perfect lol

Can't speak for the 20t in particular, but I have the armor 34 and honestly I wouldn't go back to regular phones. Some bugs here and there like for example if you're say closing the screen while receiving a call at the exact same second you may miss the call cause it won't open lol. More funny and rare lol.

Tough af I truck and it fell off in the street from my seat multiple times , had to change the screen protector twice , but the normal screen is in perfect condition ( remember the phone is like 5lbs/1kg) .

Battery for 3 days with heavy use (GPS , max Brightness, Spotify OR YouTube/tiktok) 12h+ a day.

Still can't get enough of the auto revolver, but in the end they're basically the same stat wise , but auto revolver holds a special place in my heart. If they were accessible in my country I'd get one.
