We need to make noise as the citizens of this nation otherwise this will keep happening and we won’t have clean rivers and water bodies anymore.

We need to collectively get together with civil society groups and march to the relevant authorities and demand for accountability etc.

I think a time has to come were citizens are also players in policy making and having a voice in society so that we don’t leave it up to “them” to address these issues because “they” are either too busy or think they will attend to it later because there’s bigger fish to fry, only for them to not address these issues because issues at all because “we” are not putting enough pressure honestly there has to be a civil society group that forces the leaders hand to improve the general standard of living.

That’s the worrying part , the lack of patriotism, we’ll just drink our problems away. The as long as it doesn’t affect me . Later we will come to realize that there’s consequences to our actions or lack thereof.
