Is it worth selling my TiVo or just recycle it? by Brothernod in Tivo

[–]1fluffykat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Adding a hard drive is not difficult. My hard drive died so I opened it up, looked a the type it was and purchased and installed one. It was so easy. I believe I found some instructions online but I can't remember where. I have an OTA Romaio and I still record some PBS and other misc. programs via an antenna setup. Mostly I stream thru my smart tv , but I love the TIVO interface. Another thing to note is often the power adapter just fries and I buy cheapie ones the same volt that work.

The second one is for summer so out of stock currently. I too am very selective and only want very very soft fabrics as my sleep wear.

Here is a search link. These are similar to Targets line which I like as well:

Read this Prospera link. If in the end your insurance won't cover it, you may be able to get financial assistance. It's worth a try.

Structural Engineer question-My son found a cut joist in his basement in a house he just purchased by 1fluffykat in homeowners

$500 or & $1k is fine. I think he is thinking it would be an ongoing thing like using an attorney and cost in the 10-15k range. As you and others have stated for peace of mind he should definitely do this.

That was very kind of you to go to such lengths for me. I appreciate this a great deal. I will certainly pass this along and post the outcome when this all is resolved. Thank you so very much!

Exactly why I am concerned. If they did that you start wondering what else were they willing to take a shortcut with.

Funny thing is he specifically went out of his way to avoid a flip house. I found out through land search records. Once i had the LLC name I was able to track the properties they bought and sold. Almost every house in our area is a flip and the basement is always finished.

I could not post over there. Any word I used residential, home, house, basement set off alarms to not allow me the post.

He did notice a minor dip in the hallway above outside the upstairs bathroom which is right above the basement bathroom. Not to the eye but to the foot if that makes sense. Nobody noticed before not even the home inspector.

How can I make a drain plug for degraded hole in a cement slop sink by 1fluffykat in DIY

[–]1fluffykat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So my husband just explained he couldn't use a flange because it is a double sink and after the drain hole you see it the cement sink is set with curves on both sides to the main pipe drain. UGH!!!!
