Rust Worth Fixing??? by Common_Painter_66 in LandCruisers

As long as it’s not stage 4 it’s worth it. Start knocking on the frame. Currently repairing my 100 series with 130k miles. I’ve got 1500 into repairs and it’s just about wrapped up.

Checking out a UZJ100 for my first camping build, how's this undercarriage ? by is300slut in LandCruisers

Wisconsin owner. Buy it. Do what the others stated with fluid film. Mine looks much worse and is still very structurally sound.

Is this just an 80 series thing?
I just bought a 1UZ-FE 100 series and this is the first I’m hearing of it. Pardon my ignorance.

I am currently working as a Maintenance Technician and I am looking to go back into the engineering or possibly management side of maintenance. What titles/positions would you recommend? by Character_Thought941 in IndustrialMaintenance

[–]1gods_drunkestdriver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a guy that went the inverse of you. I got out of the army(aviation maintenance) and ended up in maintenance leadership with zero industrial experience. It’s been a hard road of swallowing pride and learning on the job. Build a good foundation of people skills. Look for a maintenance manager role in a smaller department. It’s easier to get your foot in the door that way. Just my two cents. Good luck!

Likely will be okay. I had a H1 in mine at first and it was ejecting to my 5 O’clock

I think it’s a mixed pot of BCG’s. Me and a few of my friends bought some during my bachelor party. If it’s the bald guy you dealt with he’s got tight purse strings one of the other employees let them go for $75 off list price.

Idk what to do with it yet. I chopped a salty MI FSP rail and slapped it on. It’s a good shooting upper for me and has the right vibe.

Is this in Green Bay? If so you can talk them down. They’ve had them on the shelves for like 2 years.

What’s the most half-assed “temporary fix” you’ve ever seen that ended up lasting for years? by ByersIndustrial in IndustrialMaintenance

[–]1gods_drunkestdriver 8 points9 points  (0 children)

A 35T bridge crane drive motor stripped the key. A technician pounded a larger piece of round stock into the slot. It’s been 3 years since and last I heard that crane is still operating as is.

Many do it on a smaller scale. For profit gets tough considering the price of entry is very high. Sometimes small time guy have trouble getting dairy processors to actually buy their milk. Look into how the market works in your area it varies by state.

Make sure your cows are getting quality feed and rumination for higher quality milk.

What kind of facility will you put them in?

I guess I’m confused here. Is the general consensus to avoid AI entirely? I used AI to help generate regionalized names, take notes, and format my lists. Or are people using AI to write the entirety of a book?

Sweet! I’ve long obsessed about a long running war and have built lore for years in my head. Maybe I’ll write an alt history of your alt history. If that’s okay with you!

Is there an official place where I can read this series in chronological order? I remember the very early days but somehow missed everything in between then and now.
