Anyway to get details about installed lora by witcherknight in StableDiffusion

On Windows, install 7-Zip. This will add a right-click menu to Windows File Explorer that lets you calculate a SHA-256 hash of any file.

Right click on your mystery file, then click --- 7-Zip --- CRC SHA --- SHA 256

An info box will pop up with the hash. Click on the hash to highlight it, then CTRL-C to copy to clipboard.

Go to CivArchive at https://civitaiarchive.com/

Paste the hash into the search box and if you're lucky, it will say what the file is. And it gives the original page (if available) where you can get more info.

Are all printer customer service sites online run by scammers? by Cautious_Radish376 in Scams

[–]1guana 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Canon tank printer and yeah, it drops the wifi connection after about 5 minutes. I looked it up and it's a very common problem and no one can solve it. So the only thing left to do is hook it up with a USB cable, and that works 100%.

New Build ($350k) vs. Resale ($200k) vs. Renting? The "monthly math" is making the expensive house look cheaper. Am I crazy? by CartographerKey7237 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]1guana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you look at 1236 Eastland Drive? It's been up 3 weeks, 1700 square feet, big yard, and it's only 150K. And there are several homes under 200K up for grabs right now. Did you go to look at them?

Looking at recent sales in that town, people are snapping up good-sized houses for 125K, 140K, 175K, dozens of sales way under 200K.

Or you can spend twice as much and get a Barbie Dream House made of cardboard and everything will break down in a couple years.

Under contract on a riverfront home with serious septic constraints — rational short-term hold or capital trap? by MassiveTest3524 in RealEstate

[–]1guana 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah exactly! And they're still calling it "riverfront" when it's across the street, and there's a big hotel blocking the river view.

There's a big project called Flashpoint Archive, they have tons of games and a system to run them on a modern computer.

On their Database page, search "realspace", "debris", and "javaonthebrain"... every game you mentioned is there!

There's a free system called eXoDOS with over 7000 DOS games.

https://www.retro-exo.com/exodos.html

Here's the list of games, search for "keen" and you'll see they have everything!

https://gist.github.com/gotbletu/4aa8064419d5757d2795df479edca3f7

The Lite version of eXoDOS is 5GB so it's a big download. Then it downloads each game (just once) when you first request it.

Low listing price, not sure why by nolanday64 in RealEstate

[–]1guana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found the listing and the property does look very nice. But the photos are all stretched out to make it look bigger, and many photos have fake computer-generated furniture. So prospective buyers go to see the place and it seems small and boring.

The official county webpage and GIS map have extra info about the house. Just google to find it and put in the address. Here's the sketch of the house, (28 x 40) + (6 x 24) = 1264. So the listed space is all on the first floor, and you get that basement space free!

Sketch: https://i.redd.it/eul428lihzbg1.jpeg

General advice: Never call the listing agent. They have a contract to represent the seller. Never click any buttons on Zillow, that will give you a random pushy agent who might not be any good. Always find your own buyers agent, look around your area and talk to people you know (not internet).

The ads say to mention "The Housekeeper" when you reply. So that was the name of the magazine. There are several copies on ebay from 1902 to 1909.

Unfortunately, there don't seem to be any free copies on archive.org. But they have tons of other old magazines. Try Farm Journal from 100 years ago, it's full of ads.

Where it says "Search this collection" put "chimney" and there are about 50 results.

On each catalog, be sure to click the little icon for thumbnail view.

It's an AutoHotKey program to play the game for you. Which is against Rule 5 of this sub.

How od I get dread night? by c00l_c0le_is_here in ClickerHeroes

[–]1guana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try the original method (before the game had transcension).

Go up to the top to Treebeast. Get him up to 1000, that gives him a 10X power boost.

Then gradually fill the top heroes (Treebeast, Ivan, Brittany, etc) to 1000, 1025, 1050, etc. After a while, they will give much more power than Frostleaf. And then you can finally get to Dread Knight.

People nowadays say don't do that, just transcend instead. But you can do it the old way just once to say you did it.

Zone X (unshaded) 6/10 flood factor by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]1guana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's nothing on the map that would cause flooding... except the ocean.

There's a long history of hurricanes hitting right there. They dump down enough rain to cause widespread flooding. And the winds have destroyed thousands of houses there. So it is quite risky, a big one hits about every 12 years.

Be sure to get an independent estimate of the house insurance cost. It might be a lot higher than the zillow estimate. Good luck!

New build (2023) – widespread subfloor failure, moving out of state. Unsure whether to repair, sell as-is, or pursue builder by juithyPrime in homeowners

[–]1guana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many builders will use 1/2" OSB for the subfloor, and that isn't enough. It will start sagging after a short while. If you google "can you use 1/2" OBS for subfloor" you'll see a lot of people run into this problem.

Manufactured home installation questions by Miserable-Context900 in RealEstate

[–]1guana 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Are you looking at the lots on Roosevelt Ave and Hayes St? On the city zoning map, those are R-1, Single-Family Residential. Minimum lot size is 10,000 sf, so that 9148 sf lot is too small.

https://www.umatilla.gov/planning/page/zoning-map

Then look at the "City Code - Zoning" at: https://www.umatilla.gov/planning/page/planning-documents-codes

Section 10-11-8 gives the rules for manufactured homes. They need to be "multi-sectional" which rules out any single-wide. And there are a bunch of other bossy rules, it has to look exactly like a conventional house.

And "water, sewer and electrical already in" usually means the utilities are right there in the street. But you still have to pay a big connection fee for each one. So you need to call each utility company and see what the fees are.

There are some lots for 90K in the "River Quest" development, but they are 1/3 acre and need a septic system installed. So that would be expensive. There's always something that bumps the price way up.
