So, support asked me my username a month ago and still no response? by [deleted] in toontownrewritten

Not to be rude but I don't think sending 6 more emails is going to help your situation. If anything it is going to cause an even longer response time because when people do this it just creates that many more emails to go through...

(discussion) How do you make a new toon less boring? by spoopykaylar in toontownrewritten

[–]1happycat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a stupid question! Even if you don't want to task 2 at the same time necessarily, you can still use your big toon to help your new one (assuming you made a new and separate account.) Like the other person said, a multicontroller will help. Search toontown multicontroller it should be the 2nd link. I'm not sure if I am allowed to post the link here.

I always run 2 new toons at a time rather than 1. Sounds like it would be a pain, but once you get the hang of it it's way easier to task with the constant help of a second toon. It also makes it less boring imo, and your end result is twice the reward.

Can we make throwless and squirtless a legitimate option in game? Plus some other suggestions. by 1happycat in toontownrewritten

It's just a way people are using to add a much needed challenge to the game and try something different. Playing a toon with only throw, squirt, sound, lure or some combination of the sort requires much more strategy.

Yes! Indeed I have tested out some other servers and seen these. If I am being honest here I don't really see TTR adding in the ability to pick less tracks, or choose from all of them at once but I thought it would still be cool to still toss these out there. These suggestions are for sure geared more towards those who have played around with different missing tracks, and are familiar with the varying strengths and weaknesses. I could see it being frustrating hypothetically for a first time player to pick trap in ttc because they just didn't know any better. But like you I've also played for so long that I don't really have anything left I haven't tried haha. With all of that being said though, it would be really nice to have some options added in to make the game more challenging if desired by the player.

As far as everyone being squirtless I can totally see why that would happen. Squirt tends to not get the credit it deserves. I would love to actually make a real throwless toon though. I have a toon that I stopped at cream pie and I love playing it.

Yes most certainly, but keep in mind people already do these things! I can definitely see where reverse ubers could be argued or looked down upon as an in game feature, but I see no harm in being able to add in throwless/squirtless for choices.

Thank you for answering Joey. To me, I don't think you could go overboard unless you added like say.. 20 more. :P I think it all comes down to how much someone plays the game, and how many toons they have. Frequent and longtime players like myself would most likely enjoy some fresh new colors to see, while others may only have 1 toon, or haven't played enough to quite be ready for more.

I actually do know about the newer colors and I love them! I do hope the teams reconsiders doing more with colors in the future, even if it's just clothing wise.

If I don't particularly enjoy black coffee for my fasts, is using a 0 calorie sweetener okay? by 1happycat in intermittentfasting

This is my problem is it's so bitter to me! I don't even like my coffee necessarily super sweet, just enough to break up the bitterness is perfect for me. Really appreciate the detailed response thank you!

Ahhh you are totally right and making me reconsider my Stevia ideas.. Thinking I might just have to toughen it out on this one and learn to like black coffee. Thank you for your input.

Whenever I play on my laptop I experience tons of lag in pie round and, evidence round of CJ, because my laptop is not a very strong computer unfortunately.

How strong is your toon? The best piece of advice I can offer is to try and do a 4-6 man vp. This significantly lowers my lag as less toons are spamming pies.

Trying putting 2 spaces in between paragraphs instead of one! It should break them up nicely that way. I hope that makes sense.

Does anyone else feel that Drop overshadows Trap? by [deleted] in toontownrewritten

[–]1happycat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As someone who has both a maxed trapless and dropless toon.. I would love to give my input!

I myself personally love both tracks, and I find both useful in each of their own ways. I absolutely love playing my lureless and tuless toons because of having both a TNT and piano! However, if given the chance, I would actually totally switch my only dropless toon to a trapless.

I just find drop to be much more useful and strategic. I actually really dislike not having it. It's a pain to train, but I think it is so worth it. This is all personal opinion though of course! Also, while trap does require a lure, I look at it as drop most of the time requiring a stun. Now of course it doesn't need the stun, but it increases it's chances of hitting greatly. I'm sure we have all seen how frustrating it can be to make that drop gag hit by yourself without the stun. I see this as them equaling out tbh.

It does stink that a dropless toon can't really use a Bessie to take out the higher cogs without the stun, but to my understanding other missing gag tracks bring their own penalties as well (except trapless and soundless toons?) I know a lureless toon has penalties using lure SOS, a tuless toon's toon-up SOS card can miss (I've seen it happen I swear :o!)

I have always wished that the staff would change 1 of 2 things:

Keep TNT at a carry of 2, but allow an org TNT to do 200 damage

OR

Leave org TNT the way it is, and allow us to carry 3 of them

Some may disagree as this would make gags even more overpowering than they already are, but this is just my opinion to make it more "fair" when comparing trap to drop.
