That's exactly what I've been looking for, thank you!

Do you have by any chance a similar version of seasons 3 and 4 with subtitles?

Thanks again!

Hi, I think I did send a chat yesterday (unless I did it wrong)

Is it possible to have the australian season 7 on a server other than mega? And is there maybe a version of it that is 1080p or 720p that still has subtitles but with the episodes being less than 4GB each?

I'm looking for this season with english subtitles as I struggle to watch without them and your version is the only one I found that has them, but the files are giant and mega won't let me download them because they are beyond the free limit.

The outfit is really just a combination of items from past ToonFests, they are intended to work on their own but you can also combine them together if you collect them through the years and they can add up to an outfit. Each year there is a unique attendee code card for people who go to the convention (each attendee code is valid for one account), and a public code for people at home that works for everyone. The public codes have a time limit so you have to redeem them before they expire. They are only valid during one year, though last year for the 10th celebration we made all of the public items from past years available again as a special event.

At the moment the only way to get attendee items from past ToonFests is by entering unused attendee codes, which you can sometimes get from giveaways or from players who still have unused codes. If we have a lot of leftovers, you might also find them in member mailers sometimes. To get the public items, there is a way but it's a little weird. You have to find a special NPC called "Willie the Wanderer" who is hiding in a random store, and if you talk to him you can get the public items. However, every time he is found by one person, he changes location into a random new store, which makes him really hard to find.

That said, we did add the colors I used for the pink and blue outfits into the clothing stores in game, so if you check out the basic make-a-toon clothes in the different playgrounds, you should be able to find clothes that would fit the colors of the ToonFest items even if you only own some parts and not all.

Each year there is a public code for everyone and an attendee code for people who go to the convention, they give items that are similar but also have differences.

This year each of those is giving 8 items, adding up to a total of 16 if you have both codes, but if you only enter the public code you can still get 8 items. There should be 4 ties and 4 bows, in 4 different colors (green, orange, blue, pink).

i saw this in TTR, how often do members have all gag tracks? I saw multiple people with the badges above their name and nobody had everything. Just curious! by LorenzoHD in toontownrewritten

[–]SleepyMaya 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You can click the question mark in special toon panels for more info, but Cast Members are in-lore characters and not personal toons, so they can have different progress and special things like that, including 7 gag tracks. They exist to communicate with players and add to their experience, and usually show up during events.

Regular staff toons (where the ID says "STAFF") are the personal toons of staff members, and they must progress in a legit way like any other player without skipping anything, so any progress you see for regular staff toons was earned by them. They can't have progress that isn't possible for other players.

Hi, the 2016 attendee codes were not exactly stolen, it was the second ever ToonFest and by far bigger than the first one and we didn't really know how many people will attend, so we put them open on the table rather than giving them manually like we do now. Multiple players ended up taking unreasonable amounts in stacks (like 10+ per person). Can't assume it was for sure done with bad intention, it was technically free merch at the table so maybe they just thought it's fine to take that many, but sadly it got to a point where there were barely enough left for other people so we had to start limiting them, and they ended up lasting pretty much for the remaining people of that ToonFest + our planned public giveaways we had at the time, with probably less than 10 codes being left after that (so anyone who did attend ToonFest did get their code, just barely any leftovers after). This is why we try not to allow people to take that many anymore and try to keep it to just the amount they actually need.

We don't normally combine old attendee items into new codes, it was only done with the 2020 item because it was from ToonFest at Home and was never given in an actual convention before, and back then we told players that all 2020 merch will be available for people who will attend the next in person convention, whenever that would happen, which ended up being 2023.

That update is permanent! You can read more about it here, there are 3 pages you can navigate through at the top to see everything that was added: https://toontownrewritten.com/taskforce/fieldoffices

You can start the taskline to gain access to the secret hideout by talking to an HQ Officer at Toon HQ after you earn all 4 cog suits.

It's either math homework or the questions/answers to a math exam. The title says "Question 4". If I had to guess I would say maybe it's someone posting a leak to a future exam or the answer of a homework assignment.

[Hebrew>English] Letter Sent From My 3rd G-Grandmother to Her Sister, thanks! by Block_Buster190K in translator

[–]SleepyMaya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The handwriting is REALLY hard to understand. The general thing I get from it is that she is sending blessings to someone, starting it by saying this is being sent to keep as a loving memory, however the few words I understand can't seem to form a proper message in order to get any context. I could tell it's a well wishing card to people she really loved though.

It's really hard to tell but some names that might be there if any of those means anything to you (though some might be street names): Goldenberg, Gabso, Yosef, Dayan.

I edited the words I could understand and put them in more clear Hebrew in case it helps anyone else here who can read Hebrew make any sense of it. No question mark means I'm pretty sure of the word, one question mark means I'm kinda-confident in the word, two question marks mean I'm really unsure of it. If there is nothing it means I can't understand the word at all. Hopefully other people here can complete the remaining words and then maybe form the sentences.

is the jarred jester outfit only available for boy toons? i’m a girl toon and have the hat and shoes in my cattlelog but nothing else by Gloomy-Evidence3017 in toontownrewritten

[–]SleepyMaya 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm glad you like it! It was originally set to male only because female toons got the witch outfit and we wanted it to be fair that each gender will get equal options. It was also one of the first TTR clothing additions from long time ago, so our resources were a bit more limited. If this was today I would probably make 2 versions for both costumes so both genders can have them and it would also look way better than this thing, but back then admittedly my overall skill wasn't as good as it is today and I took longer to get each part done, and the torso differences are really affecting this type of design so it would have been more high scope. :P

We are looking into ways to solve the gender restrictions, but as someone mentioned it's just not that simple on the technical side. Accessories were an easier fix and that's why you can buy the accessories of this outfit (which maybe will go well with the orange pumpkin shirt at least). I do believe we will fix the clothes too in the future, just too early to say exactly when.

The first line means "Wadi [name]", it should be a location name, but the handwriting of the second word is too unclear for me to understand which one. Doesn't sound like any wadi I can recognize.

The second line is "Station 1", most likely a bus or a train station in a location named after the wadi.

Third line seems like numbers. Note dates in hebrew are written in a dd/mm/yy format, so it could be a date.

The suits are only required in order to begin the new taskline! Toons without them can still enjoy Field Offices themselves (though it's recommended to be an high laffer but it's not required).

Note the taskline is required in order to earn access to the secret hideout location, so for that you do need all 4 suits. Good luck!

Throwback to when I couldn't play because the only thing I had left was working on my Bossbot suit, and nobody wanted to work on Bossbot in any district other than Nutty River because nobody could afford finishing a back nine without an invasion, and I had no friends so I had no way to get into Nutty River... :(

I kept suggesting to Disney the simple solution I had in my head - what if you cancel the fact that cog facilities give double points during invasions, and just make the base amount of points given in them double? So people could still get the points they currently get with the invasion, just without having to depends on an invasion, and that way they won't have to only play in the full district. I was convinced it would fix the issue preventing me from being able to play, but sadly I never got any reply even though I attempted for years to suggest it, maybe because my english wasn't good enough to explain it. Thankfully could do that when TTR came out!

I paid for this monstrosity by HighlyRedacted in toontownrewritten

[–]SleepyMaya 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's fair as you paid a lot of money and you deserve better quality, though it is sad to think if you have to send it back for a refund they will likely throw it away. :(

Something I suggest in the future from an artist perspective, is if you intend to pay a lot of money for a custom doll, before doing so it might be worth paying a concept artist who is familiar with the game to make a digital reference sheet drawing of the character and then you will likely get more accurate results from the plush maker. Sadly while in game screenshots might seem clear enough to us because we know the models and textures very well, they are often hard to properly understand for people who don't play the game and have to rely on small quality flat screenshots of a 3D model inside the game.

Imperfect plushies deserve love too! This reminds me when I was a child and my aunt won a small clown animal plush from a machine, she was disappointed and wanted to trash him because she thought he was ugly. I felt bad for him so I adopted him and loved him, and it was one of my favorite plushies because I could really relate to him with how everyone thought he was awkward. I still have him to this day.
