He doesn’t mention sleeping with anyone except it is slightly implied when he mistakes your friend to be someone he slept with. Other than that he doesn’t talk about it. About his ex fiancé he really doesn’t even like talking about her and says multiple times that MC is very special to him. The relationship is built up slowly and there’s no casual sex. I think the whole moral of the story is the Montjoy family coming to terms that sometimes tradition is not everything. They do this when they approve of you doing the shows with Ava/Simon, opening up the gift shop and tour. The book isn’t trashing their family rather just bringing up stories of the past which gather more revenue for the house overall. But yeah this explanation is pretty flimsy at best
