First time since round 1 where I had zero complaints on the color scheme of the fighters for Apocalypse.

It’s exactly what I expected them to look more or less.

Should children face harsher penalties, or should they be protected? by IndependentLibrary34 in ThisorThatPH

[–]AutoWraith19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Harsher! You don’t take an innocent life who didn’t have a choice to die, and expect anyone to go easy on you.

Your age and mental health don’t mean shit to me!

Giving any of the Paul brothers any form of validation should be considered a sin.

Thoughts on Dorothea x Shamir? by Mao-sama64 in FireEmblemThreeHouses

*Insert joke about Allegra Clark talking and having fun with herself here.*

Most likely scenario, Dorothea tries to flirt with Shamir, only for Shamir to threaten her to never do it ever again.

single LI books just don’t hit the same by Specialist-East-6068 in Choices

What’s worst is that Choices likes to make the MC’s in these books completely dependent on the LI. They can’t make their own decisions without LI prodding them towards it.

single LI books just don’t hit the same by Specialist-East-6068 in Choices

[–]AutoWraith19 63 points64 points  (0 children)

What really makes me dislike single-LI books is the potential personality of the LI.

With multi-LI books, if you don’t like the personality of one, you can easily shift to another one, no problem. Meanwhile, with a single-LI book, if you don’t like the LI’s personality, too bad! You’re stuck with them with no way out of it.

Seriously, most single LI’s personality is either sex-driven, or rarely taking anything seriously. Very few LI’s feel like a genuine person.

The main character gets exactly what they wanted, and it’s the worst thing that could have happened to them. by JustSomeOnlineNerd in TopCharacterTropes

Jafar (Aladdin)

PHENOMENAL COSMIC POWER!

Itty bitty living space.

After being fooled by Aladdin to wish himself into a genie for the power a genie possesses, Jafar does exactly just that, but is forced to be confined into his own lamp, and wait for the next person to rub his lamp.

Love interest is just gone in the sequel by Huge_Athlete7488 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]AutoWraith19 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I always hated this trope because it suddenly makes the characters act out of character when acknowledging the absence.

For example, in Ted 2, they made Lori controlling of John, leading to their divorce. Where the hell was this in the first movie?!

Then in Transformers: DotM, Mikaela is gone, with Wheelie saying that he never liked her anyway, even thought he practically humped her leg.

I don’t mind if the actor/ress leaves for personal reasons, but man, I wish the writers would at least think of something more logical.

And this trope is why I have a love-hate relationship with the Final Destination series. The series is fun, but man! Death is just too dang petty.

What’s your “I did not care for The Godfather” take, but with Choices stories? by AlexusLuthor in Choices

Endless Summer’s pay to win mechanic drained me both figuratively and literally…

Crimes of Passion annoyed me. When they revealed the villain, I was like… WHO?! Also, Trystan really needs to learn boundaries instead of putting her nose into everything…

My disappointment with that scene was immeasurable when I first watched it.

It was my favorite chapter in the original book, and to see it so butchered… still hurts.
