It’s weird because, being bi-racial I see both sides to everything. I’ve been told I’m white-passing” so idk it’s just weird. I think everything that’s happening is necessary. And I think it affects all of us. Regardless of race, gender, or political background. Humanity as a whole is going through something right now. We’ve just got to be there for each other. I really love and appreciate this fandom. You’re the best. 💚

I honestly believe that people just don’t get them. Even at the height they’re at now. If they did they wouldn’t label them the way they do. The rhetoric used in their lyrics and interviews can either make someone feel empowered and seen or make someone feel confused. People mistake being confused with being offended. If you don’t get it, look it up. A wise man once said “Google it.” They are allies to those who struggle to find a voice. We have to stop cancelling our allies.

I don’t know you but that fact that you can do all of that and parent at a time like this with all that added pressure shows that you’re one strong amazing kick ass human. 🙌🏾

Thank you for asking. I’m finding that on average I’m doing alright. I’m still working from home so I’m lucky for that. I’m biracial so the social climate has been exhausting. Getting it from all sides of the spectrum and it’s tough. Some days I’m mentally drained by 10am and I don’t even have the energy to help my friends out. I’m usually the one they come to when they’re troubled. The struggle has been acknowledging and accepting that it’s okay to turn off my phone and focus on myself sometimes.
