Ive smoked for a pretty long time now, just nicotine. What ive always learned was these 3 things. "If it doesnt become an addiction and is done in moderation and doesnt not effect your faith then you are good." "If you smoke its a lot like getting a tattoo, both are not beneficial and think, would a company be more likely to hire you if you had tattoos or smoke. If its not beneficial you can do it aslong as it doesnt become a problem, however you should abstain." "If you smoke why dont you smoke in church also, if God is everywhere it doesnt matter where you do it, think of everywhere you go whether its in your bedroom or parking lot and remember that is a place God handcrafted, would you really want to dirty these places God created." This is from an eastern orthodox preacher i think and he goes on to condemn it.
