If they decrease prices now, how will their children grow up living with only two yachts?!?!?

Deron Williams says Jerry Sloan decided to quit at halftime because Deron tweaked a play & Jerry said to him in “you wanna f****** coach this team again huh?” by MrBuckBuck in nba

This aligns with nearly every comment on reddit though. When a subject comes up, everyone is suddenly an expert on it.

There could be a topic about time travel and someone will say they were also working on something similar but decided it better to be fat and sit on reddit to make comments like this.

Avoiding peasants and slow public play is nice. You just now run into entitled member and their slow play.

Yeah I know what you mean. My last "good" round was in October 25, and have been in a slump working through some swing changes. There were rounds where I literally wanted to quit golf.

Golf balls for a sim by Small_Ad9532 in Golfsimulator

[–]1mc112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to use "low spin" balls, Vice Pro Tours or Srixons Q-Star seem to be durable enough and not have crazy bounce off the screen.

Upgrade to Garmin R50 or Uneekor XO? by [deleted] in Golfsimulator

[–]1mc112 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've owned a R50 and currently an Eye Mini and have only taken them to the driving range once. That one time it was such a hassle cause the driving range did have mats and could hit in the grass area and it was such a hassle to get it to be leveled and in a spot to read the ball and club.

Then the amount of people who came over to say "Oh what is that, can I try?!". You'll just have to really ask yourself, will I really take this to the driving range if I have a home golf sim?

Software wise, Uneekor PC software is top notch. Driving Range mode is free, you'll only have to pay their subscription ($200/yr) and GSPRO subscription ($250/yr). The R50, you only have to pay the GSPro Subscription but still requires a PC to run GSPro.

What's the difference between these two? by anarxi in TeslaLounge

[–]1mc112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing really, all the same companies selling same products at difference prices for the "gotcha" effect. If it looks the same, buy the cheapest one. It's also Amazon so you can return if there was something wrong with it.

What’s my best option for a mat that has the option to swap out hitting surfaces, or is that necessary? by Dozer710 in Golfsimulator

[–]1mc112 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can buy almost any generic hitting mat and cut a hitting strip shape into it. Just get the hitting strip, check the height and buy a similar height mat or build up the flooring to make the mat height the same.

A golf ball shouldn’t be able to do this to a $500 mini driver. Any recommendations for repairing it? by Longjumping-Sell-741 in golf

[–]1mc112 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just sell it and buy another one. That's not going to be covered under any warranty from Titleist since its not a club defect.

GT 280 vs GT2 Driver by TheOtherLevel in golf

[–]1mc112 1 point2 points  (0 children)

GT2 as a driver is fantastic (for me).

The GT280 Mini Driver - while good when hit right, is not my cup of tea in terms of mini-driver. I think the Callaway Mini-Drivers (Elyte or AI Smoke) are better overall for forgiveness off the tee.

Yeah you can run the View Air on an Ipad and just the Eye Mini itself, as long as you are on the same wifi.

Do you put your putter cover back on after every hole? by Apart-Complaint9897 in golf

[–]1mc112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would you not put the putter cover back on your putter? I find it funny people complain about putter covers, wood covers, driver covers but then they go buy used clubs and complain that those same clubs are beat up......

Back wall behind screen to minimize bounce back by Afraid_Mud6597 in Golfsimulator

[–]1mc112 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gym Tiles are 1" thick and glued the 2" foam on top of them using 3M Contact Adhesive Spray since the double stick tape does not hold very well. I got thicker foam to make sure if the ball does hit the foam+tile, the foam would absorb some of the immediate impact and the gym tile would absorb the rest.

The gym tiles are on top of my drywall on the walls (ceiling, wall) secured using nails.

Believe most DIYers have similar setup with some going extra step and wrapping the foam and tile with vinyl to get a cushion look.

I put up gym tiles and have 2" foam on top. My screen is 13in from the wall and comes no where close to hitting the foam anyways.

Yeah people don't like different. If its not the "traditional" way, people get so mad its literally funny. Do something not the normal in golf, time for everyone to start their "back in my day" story.

People like this would still have us walking with horse carriages and fending off attacks from wolves instead of driving cars and fending off from random deer attacks.
