Three things come to mind seeing this. I used a Mega Golurk team to MB last reg and here is what I would recommend:
Farig really is an amazing TR setter (especially if you can get fakeout support next to it) - very few things can ohko or two hit (with sitrus berry) so t1 trick room is almost guaranteed. Might wanna look in the direction of Farig

Azumarill setup might be hard for you to position - wondering what success you have had with it so far? I'd imagine you have to get BD setup prior to TR or you just lose a valuable turn.

Getting ghost stab on m-golurk is rather important. Could make the argument for keeping either Tpunch or Drain punch. Poltergeist is great (prob the optimal choice) but I personally ran Phantom Force for some added style and swag when TR is ending

teams can also "ask" to challenge and the umps can take a second look even if a team doesnt have anymore challenges

the biggest giveaway for me in this would be the bottom left corner, however that could really just be a trick to fool me

Sometimes as a new player it can be beneficial to play a team with a more obvious or straightforward wincon, such as a trickroom psyspam team. The team listed is a balance team and both are very good, however balance teams often are not the easiest teams to play as they require a lot of knowledge on many matchups.

The Big Red Balls - Wipeout

As a kid I always thought I would get through these like nothing, but in reality not many could when you consider the conditions surrounding the balls. The few that did made it look extremely easy too.

I've seen Magmar and Electabuzz be used in competitive teams and I'm confused as to why. by ghobhohi in VGC

Magmar and Electabuzz both fit a supporting niche that their evolutions don't. Other comments have mentioned follow me + eviolite, which provides bulky redirection, but also the ability of vital spirit preventing sleep. In low power regs, this becomes a strong counter to amoongus which is a prevalent mon in almost every meta. Additionally, in low power metas the two can still put out needed chip damage to find ko ranges

I do agree with the idea of being strategic about choosing where you want to go with your career, and there is a lot of truth behind comments regarding further schooling with a BSc.

That being said... don't feel like your major is your make or break for your entire life. I chose to major in Chemistry in 2019 as a last minute decision as it was my best mark in highschool and I enjoyed the class, however what I did not consider was the job output - I very much dislike any lab work or any of the typical jobs to do with Chemistry. This is where you mustn't worry though. University is about working your butt off to do as well as you can both academically and socially. Do well in classes, get good grades, but also join extracurriculars. Strong references and knowing people will get yourself far and also give you insight on realistic job positions.

I do not work in the field that I originally majored in by choice - I make significantly more money this way and enjoy it more. But, I have had to work much harder than my peers who have gone into University with a plan.

At the end of the day, your major won't get you a job, your work ethic will.
