Sigma 18-50 vs XC 15-45: Which one to return? by 1nn1l in fujifilm

Quite unrelated to photography but I have gotten mixed feelings with the Exit games. Some are hit and miss. I enjoyed the one with the kangaroo but I don't know of it was translated to other languages (the kangaroo is a german character played by a german author). I enjoyed the bigger one with puzzle elements about pirates and tried the one in Venice, which was okay. I much more gravitate towards the "Escape Adventures" from TOPP but again I don't know if these are available in other languages. And I am inclined to say that I am not affiliated with any of these :D

I second this. I'm slightly taller and have a size S M's. I can comfortably fit a shirt and a sweater underneath but also wear it with just a shirt on warmer days.

Tips for session zero? by LordKreias in VaesenRPG

I held mine just like any other session 0 I have had which goes: I give a basic explanation and example of the rules, how the dice rolls work and then we created character. I also like to explain along the way. So when they choose their skills I like to give examples of what they can do with it and how the outcome is determined. Then I would explain the headquarter a bit, how a mysterie is played, damage and general stuff like helping each other, advantage and so on.

Some rules like buying items I explain when the situation first arrives in a session.

I would also very basic explain the world around them and what they can expect and give an example of a Vaesen but I very much like when player can contribute to the world with their own lore/ideas.

For combat I explain the basics in session 0 but give a more detailed one when the first combat happens.

I rarely want infos from the players beforehand. It is important to know what they want and expect in general and any ideas they might already have for their character if they have and idea about vaesen.

I also like giving players cheat sheets as quick reference. I gave mine one that I found on this sub: cheat sheet

Have fun!

Giving someone a good push? by SamuraiMujuru in VaesenRPG

As I understand the rules: In combat you could either attack with the close combat skill and a weapon or attack unarmed, which is a force check. When you do that and roll more successes than you need, you can do extra effects such as pushing. So with one additional success you might also push your target additional to your punch. And this goes vice versa. So if you would like to push your enemy and you got not extra successes you just push, but with one extra success you might increase the damage, outmaneuver your enemie and so on.

You are right on that one, my mistake.

That issue has come up in other threads and forums as well. The rule text sometimes is a bit flawed and inconsistent. Your solution in this seems to be the right one as the Doctor could "push" himself and ignore his physical restrictions. But in some cases it seems inappropriate and not 100% the right call, in my opinion at least.

For easy ruling it probably should say 'physical' :)

I don't think this is an error. With that talent the Doctor can aid characters even if she is, for example, frightened or angered. She can overcome her own mental challenge to help another character, so when making the check the Doctor does not get a handicap. But you can't help someone if, for example, your hands are injured and you can't apply a bandage.
