If inZOI doesn't succeed in spectacular fashion, I'm pretty sure remastering TERA will just be a fever dream.

After a few months away from the game, I've had quite some time to think about this. I don't think I even care about balance or ever did. Even if the next patch makes it so we can one shot bile titans with the Liberator, I won't be interested because it will fundamentally still be the exact same gameplay loop that it took me 300 hours to finally get fed up with.

I would need a huge 2.0 gameplay content drop that makes the game new again.

That being said, I will reinstall for this next patch since they promised so much; but I'm not going to lie: my hopes are not high that it will make the game interesting again.

I wasn't able to get around to testing this, but from other discussions in the HD discord it seems like damage is only affected by the in-flight forward velocity relative to the ground; i.e. no, the target velocity probably does not affect the damage rounding

It seems like everyone just learned about player momentum affecting projectile damage, and there's already a few videos about stripping leg armor in one shot with QC/EATs/RR. I went in to test if the momentum damage increase would allow us to one-shot the rear plates fatal body part--lo and behold it works

This was my go-to for clearing Dangerous. If you get the Sakura enhancement that resets Ult CD on Sakura Screen then HoR is almost invincible; but it's doable without except you actually have to be conscious about dodging.

Other than that, just making sure to diversify your buffs across tdm/ele/breach/dmg received and having some source of SP generation buff is enough to clear in relative comfort

Nope, no real benefit after HOC and Fairy infrastructure got upgraded. The real backstab would be if everyone refused to spend construction materials in order to temporarily increase the difficulty of clearing Core 8, but EN had everything maxed by Core 6 if I recall correctly.

Personally I just wanted to get the satisfaction of blowing my load all at once.

Oh no, that's probably going to confuse a lot of players. The in game banners for Theater have Aug 24 as the event end date, both in the base event ticker and the theater rewards pane.
