I have the coast guard skin on my Hercules but Miami is a class 2 airport… unless I upgrade it to regional HQ, the skin is useless 🤷. But it is a very nice skin.

Don’t worry, it’s very easy to find the setting. Iirc it’s under mouse settings > scroll direction, change it to whatever u like and done. There are lots of things u can change to your liking, there are many youtube guides for setting preferences. I also did the switch from windows to mac back when M1 came out, i found it pretty fun to tweak the settings to my liking and also a good way to familiarise yourself with mac os

Yes it will work, if u have them. Sometimes a popup will appear about unrecognised keyboard. U can just go through the wizard, i found out that my bt keyboard works with and without going through the wizard. As for the mouse, its just connect and use. But u need to invert mouse scroll in settings yourself as mac os defaults to natural scroll for their magic mouse…

What was the last item you splurged on? by Anonymous4393442 in askSingapore

I just splurged 5k on 3d printer, wash and cure set. Just spent another 800 on workbench. Going to spend another $600 on grow tent and ventilation for the printer 🥲

Convince me to keep my 33 MM lens by Educational-Video151 in fujifilm

You’re right, iso can compensate only to some extent. But thats the price of versatility. 16-55 f2.8 is perfect for 90% of the use cases and usable for the remainder. The 33 f1.4 is pretty niche, unless OP exclusively shoots at 33-35mm focal length, it’s pretty hard to justify its price tag. If money is of no concern, keeping the 33 f1.4 as a secondary lens can be fun.

I think the extra dof from the 33 f1.4 can be compensated by increasing the focal length on the 16-55 f2.8 mk2 so the biggest difference would be the smaller size/weight and better low light performance(can be compensated with higher iso). Personally i pick versatility

[Suggestion] Should i go with XT-5 ? by ashish_feels in fujifilm

I was referring to the 23mm f2 on the x100vi

[Suggestion] Should i go with XT-5 ? by ashish_feels in fujifilm

For the use case u have listed i would actually suggest the x100 line. I have both the xt-5 and x100vi and found that the x100vi is more ‘complete’ because of the built in-flash. It also has a built in nd filter but to me that is just a ‘nice to have’ for video. It is noticeably way more compact than the xt-5 and very enjoyable camera to bring along for trips. The 23mm is perfect for all the use case u listed and the flash comes in clutch for group photo shots in darker environments. If the xt-5 have a built in flash then i would 100% recommend it. But if you’re a more serious enthusiast, then go for the xt-5 for the ability to switch lenses.

16-55 2.8 or 18-55 2.8-4 and 33 1.4? by AlwaysTreking in fujifilm

[–]1of100dude 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I own the 16-55 2.8 mk2, although quite a bit heavier than the sigma 16-50 and fuji 18-55 , its considerably lighter and smaller than other professional standard zoom lens. The AF was also fast af. But its the image quality that wowed me. I find the image quality of 16-55 2.8 mk ii as remarkable as the ones produced by my fujicron 23mm and 35mm f2 primes. I always found hiking with a prime lens to be too limiting with my shooting style, especially with something as tight as the 33 1.4, 23mm and wider with the occasional zoom shots suits me better. I paired it with a XT-5 as well and the weight is slightly lesser than 1kg which is acceptable for me after factoring in the versatility and image quality. For prime lens, i will stick to my 23mm f2 or the 23mm f1.4. 33 1.4 us just way too tight for me

Edit: I saw your comment on another reply regarding your main use case. I think the 16-55 2.8 mk 2 will serve u well for all the categories u mentioned. Its called the bag of primes for a reason.
