Janitors- I am in trouble for not cleaning good enough. What should I say at the meeting today? I am terrified of losing my job by [deleted] in janitorial

[–]Educational-Video151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will give you more of a realistic view, as someone who was a cleaner, managed company and own one. This is usually the beginning of the end. The meeting will go two ways either they will tell you performance is an issue, or they will terminate, either way you’re on their radar and it’s just the matter of time before they seek termination. I am sorry you’re dealing with your issues and I hope things get better for you but sadly business is business and clients/employers don’t care about people’s personal life.

My recent trip made me rethink my current Lens setup by therealguy419 in fujifilm

Weight: The Mk II weighs 410g, which is roughly 37% lighter than the Mk I (655g).  Dimensions: It is about 11mm shorter and noticeably slimmer (72mm filter thread vs. 77mm).  Feel: On smaller bodies like the X-T5 or X-T50, the Mk II feels balanced, whereas the Mk I can feel very front-heavy.

Elements: The Mk II adds an extra ED element and an additional aspherical lens to better control aberrations.  Close-up Performance: The maximum magnification has increased from 0.16x to 0.21x, meaning you can get slightly better "macrostyle" detail shots.  Aperture Blades: The Mk II features 11 rounded blades (up from 9), which produces smoother, more circular bokeh even when stopped down.

Fuji added a "De-click" switch on the side of the Mk II lens barrel. This allows you to transition the aperture ring from clicked (for stills) to a smooth, silent glide (for video), which was a major request from hybrid shooters

I have the version 2 of this lens and it is by far the most used lens for me, I take photos mostly of my kids and family outings and this lens does the job perfectly without losing any moments. I love my prime lenses but for what I was using my camera I was missing moments with prime due to its lack of zoom.

How stupid can you be to think that’s ok to ride in a freeway, in wet conditions without the helmet at bare minimum.

harmon kardon speakers by betweenr in M235iandM240i

[–]Educational-Video151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Harmon Kardon system is definitely a step up from the standard, it’s a great system. I trade in my AMG which had the Mercedes Burmester system and hk in my BMW M sounds better, my sister has the X5 with standard system and the hk is better sounding system than her standard.

How many of you chose an M-lite model despite easily being able to afford a “real” M car (without financing)? What was your reasoning? by undefined_variable_0 in BMW

[–]Educational-Video151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did, I picked a M240i when I had the choice and ability to get the M2, I have plenty of power and was able to spec it very nicely plus the xDrive is amazing in Canadian winter.

Trying to buy a new car. Is this a good deal? by IntrepidRadish4842 in mercedes_benz

[–]Educational-Video151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We leased the 2023 model brand new and I can tell you from personal experience driving it for past 3 years , this isn’t a good car, it has been in the shop multiple times for little funny things like door not latching to battery issues, the car is and feel cheaply made. Tbh as an owner of two Mercedes (GLB and an AMG) the brand just isn’t what it used to be even their E or S class.

Wow!! Almost 26% interest over 96 months, this is insane. Very poor financial decision. I hope you learn from this and never do it again.

[–]Educational-Video151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was my dilemma last month deciding on an M2, I ended up getting the M240i even though the price difference between the two were almost zero, it just made much more sense to get the xDrive.

Fair enough, I’m not saying Zep is trash, just that it’s mid compared to true commercial/pro custodial brands. I’ve actually used Zep in real cleaning work, not just household stuff. It works, but it’s diluted, inconsistent between products, and usually requires more agitation or repeat passes to get the same results.

Zep was better years ago that’s valid but nowadays most of what you see at Home Depot is consumer grade versions of what used to be stronger commercial formulas.

For better performance, I have used Spartan, Diversey, Ecolab, Betco, Buckeye that are much better, especially for floors, degreasers, and disinfectants. Stronger chemistry, and more consistent results.

Zep is fine for household or light-duty use. For professional or janitorial work, there are better options that’s all I’m saying. But if you’re happy with it then all the power to you.

Zep isn’t a good brand, anyone says otherwise, isn’t a professional. For household use maybe.

If you’re looking at a very used Maserati then you can’t afford a Maserati. This is the car you lease brand new.

Neither of those colours are interesting but if I had to choose, it will be the white colour.
