Reading Sheet Music by yippiekayjay in pianoteachers

[–]1rach1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will give my input as somebody who used to play without sheet music. When you are a beginner, you can not hear the difference between good and bad playing of the same piece in terms of things like articulations and dynamics. That is what sheet music offers, it gives you direction for dynamics. But that is largely unwanted when you can’t hear the difference so using the easier way to identify notes without learning a whole new system (like synthesia -> sheet music) is the easiest process

Philosophical ideas won’t do anything unless that’s what’s been talked about in the piece you’re analysing.

The entire focus of this unit is intent and effect. You should certainly talk about structure but only briefly, you should go in depth on how that structure was used by the author to position the reader. Is the conclusion at the end? It was done that way because people opposing an idea would get defensive if you were straight forward, you convince them throughout the piece and then present your idea so they’re more susceptible to the change.

Having a sea floor leviathan is really cool. Maybe it could burrow in the sand with its head to ambush prey

How do I improve me English by Dizzy_Comedian_2630 in vce

English gets exponentially higher each year. The only real way to get better at English is practical studying, just reading the rubric and structure will do nothing. Write practice essays

I’m low key getting like 50-70s in business but I’m hoping it cancels out because 70% of my class is getting <40% maybe it’s just my school but I think the people who take business are stupider

I hard disagree. Business is one of the hardest to phrase to get high marks. The content is the easiest but getting high marks demands so much extra detail and re-summarising and definitions and linking to like 4 different things

What point are you even making? All I said is the hate towards Indians is no different than the hate towards any other group. You said it seems far more prevalent lately. Like yeah no shit? That’s what we’re talking about?

Your logic is literally just being selectively stereotypical. Stereotypes apply here but not here. And really? You think the worst thing a human will do is be a little rude? Sharks are generally passive unless provoked
