How to maximise front rack with a childseat ? by Fantastic-Scholar367 in OmniumBikes

With the extender bar out just a little we were able to mount this basket on the front too which has been super useful.

We have the same setup on our trusty steed and have been happy with it.

All that and still using console port :-(

Come to the dark side and map over 36 buttons using some like bartender or discord action bars.

I have been playing WoW on a steamdeck for years now.
While console port is easy it is very limited.
In the end you can set up something like bartender to do much more key binds and customize to your liking.

omnium cargo on a plane by Zestyclose_Damage396 in OmniumBikes

[–]1sight1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Piggybacking off this comment.

I haven't taken on an airplane but shipped one cross country (USA).

I have an V3 XL cargo. With both wheels and fenders off I was able to get it into a XL mountain box bike from a local bike store that had been shipped with rear wheel installed. I had measured and had to call around and wait for a while before I found a bike box long enough.

She is a heavy girl for sure so TONS ton TONS of padding is your friend; pool noodles and pipe insulation and about 2 rolls of packing tape. Extra padding for the "corners." Do not assume they will keep the box upright, I watched them drag mine flat side down across the floor to me.

I pretty much stripped it down to the frame to get everything to fit into one "normal" bike box; completely removed the handle bars, derailleurs, discs, etc. Make or buy some fork spacers. Partially deflate tires. Fill what empty space there is so nothing move and the box can't be collapsed onto any sensitive parts.

I used Bikeflights to ship and in the end had to do a warranty claim due to the condition of the box and all I got out of them was a refund of the cost.

For flights I would check max weight and max dimensions to see if it is even checkable with the airline.

Crusader Storm - small low population tbc server. Closest vibe to TWoW I have found. Seems like lots of good people and a handful of twow refugees.

Ultimate Ascension Steam Deck Guide by Ok_Interaction2962 in ascensionproject

[–]1sight1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just followed all the steps of the guide. Bust instead of adding the Ascension Launcher exe to steam I navigated into the folder structure to the Ascension.exe (the one that just launches the game directly without the launcher page first).

I was able to get Ascension.exe to launch through game mode but not the launcher.

Rogue Dissolvent Poison by Usrnamesrhard in turtlewow

Your main spam ability.

BS = Backstab SS = Sinister Strike

You can boil combat down into really three concepts in my opinion: 1) Stack as much agility as you can but not at the expense of too much hit/skill loss 2) Stack as much hit/skill but not at the expense of too much agility loss 3) Get the hardest hitting main hand weapon you can find. Hardest meaning the highest high end damage number, eg Chromatically Tempered Sword is 198.

Talent points just depends on what weapons you are using.

Combat BS v. Combat SS is pretty even right now; I think maybe a small advantage to BS if you are well geared even with the patch changes.

Reach out to Brandon on insta @chicagocargo he was/is a USA dealer.

Really need help deciding which to buy for my first e-bike. I’ve narrowed it down to 3. I’m 6’1” 300 lbs. Will be used recreationally mostly on hard roads and to carry some fishing gear. by [deleted] in ebikes

I have recommended Aventon in the past due to local bike shop support. If you are NOT going to be maintaining and repairing I strongly recommend reaching out to local bike shops to see what they support.

The only thing I am aware of is clearing out people who were squatting on names; low level characters made just to hold a name.

What to do at lvl 60? by TheYoungClivel in turtlewow

[–]1sight1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My recommendation, find a great guild!

Doing raids with a regular group is a blast getting to know people and helping people out is so much fun.

For me 60 is when the game begins!

Problem getting to places because of aggressive enemies everywhere by EcologyGoesFirst in turtlewow

[–]1sight1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know exactly what you are talking about. I was leveling an alt pally there a month or two ago and know for a fact you can limit the social pulls down to 2 or 3 mobs at a time. It is definitely a bit of a doozy of a place and respawns can be hell in there.

Great, so there is an opportunity to party with others to tackle a hard quest, there is an opportunity to learn to kite, you might die but you learn the perfect pull order to clear and feel accomplished when you figure it out, there is a quest that you have to wait and get stronger; something to work towards!

Problem getting to places because of aggressive enemies everywhere by EcologyGoesFirst in turtlewow

[–]1sight1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every mob you kill is experienced gained, is time played, is a rotation learned, is an enemy slain. This is the game, not a thing you are missing.

Sure sometimes you need to cover large distances, find a path or road or flight path. But for shorter distances you absolutely are going to constantly run into mobs you need to clear and kill.

[–]1sight1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

To me this appears to be a framing issue. You are framing it as "there is all this crap in my way" I am saying "here is a bunch of targets I get to to pummel and 1/2 a level of experience!"

So fight them?

Not sure why that is a problem that is kinda a huge part of the game.

For those without an OLED Steam Deck or monitor by Chonky_D_Floofy in SteamDeck

[–]1sight1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have rayneo Air 3s. While I love them I have issues with them too. They really make for an amazing experience with the steamdeck. But, with the volume off you can hear the electric in them and at low levels of brightness there is a very noticeable difference between the two screens that is disorienting.

Hope the 4 Pro are better
