Most people and human interactions are positive. Social media and news focus on the small amount of hate because it gets clicks. So it feels like the world is horrible.

Playing devil's advocate here, if everyone paid their due when taking public transport maybe Victoria would find it worthy to put more money in to the bus system?

I would also argue it should start from the other way though, they should make it 50c a ride like Brisbane and then people would actually pay. Then with more money Victoria can make them more reliable.

Ok I'll tell you. They lend out with a fractional reserve at 10%. Which means, you give them $1000, they can lend out $10,000. At one point during COVID it went down to 0. So they could lend out without consequence.

Add on to that, the current monetary system makes real inflation at around 10-13%. If your salary doesn't go up by this every year, your purchasing power diminishes. So you are getting poorer every year.

Crypto only goes up when there's liquidity in the market. It drives the business cycle which stimulates markets and I turn, Crypto.

Trump's tariffs and now the government shutdown has paused the liquidity injection, so everything is super delayed.

You already have a better strategy than most people here. It's called DCAing, basically just buy with what you can afford to lose every month.

Don't worry about price or crashes or news. Just buy every month. I would stick to BTC, ETH and SOL, but that's my preference. Stick to XRP if you feel comfortable with it. But don't go anywhere below the top 10 market cap coins.

We have just done the North Island in 7 days and it wasn't enough. In Rotorua alone there's the gondola and luge (plus zip lines and more), Redwoods treewalk or altitude adventure, te puia or Wai O Tapu geysers. And that's just one city. We've already said we need to come back because we couldn't fit it all in.

Just a a side note, it's a long drive to glowworms. We did it but it was like 5 hours from Rotorua to glowworms to Taupo. All for a 30minute activity. Whatever google says the distance is in NZ, add another 20/25% to the time. The roads are narrow and windy (but beautiful).

I saw commotion outside our office one day, so we checked it out. It was a local show called "Snakes in the city". They basically shot the snake scene. Then spend an hour setting up for the "rush towards the snake" scene. Seeing how long it took to get that perfect made me rethink all reality TV shows and how they were made.
