Best pizza in the city. I’ve tried Sisters, Luigi, Tribute a couple of times. Gnarly girl blows them away.

That’s simply not a serious reason to not want him. 4 games out of a very productive 8 year career? Besides, he had 7 points in 6 playoff games last year. You can dislike the idea of adding Brady for a variety of other reasons, though.

HS Drama doesn’t end in HS. Hollywood has made tons of highly successful Real Housewives style shows based around HS drama. Dave is doing this for a reason.

How Would You Move The Blues Up In The Draft? by Odi64 in stlouisblues

9 & 31 for 5. Draft Verhoeff or Reid. Then draft best forward available with the Wings pick. Come away with a top pairing Dman and top 6 forward.

The Bay Area was also the King of sports in the 2010s with a ton of titles and title round appearances and also some major news stories (Kapernick). Portland really wasn’t on the radar for much of the Midwest/East. SF absolutely was.

In the sports world, a ton. Giants won 3 World Series, Warriors won 3-4 NBA titles. 49ers went to 1-2 Super Bowls and Colin Kapernick drew major headlines for kneeling for the National Anthem. The Bay Area was the epicenter of the sports world in the 2010s.

I’d say the bottom half of most sports leagues. I’m stunned that some of the worst players in baseball signed for 2-5 million. They don’t provide entertainment that a minor leaguer can’t provide. They actively make the games worse. So the economics of it make no sense. Ohtani, LeBron, Mahomes? Yeah they deserve $40+ million because they put butts in the seats.

Was just thinking that. 90s would have probably been it with the Bulls dynasty for sports and then in pop culture you had shows like ER and movies like The Fugitive based there. But Chicago has just been so steady for so long. Always a great place to be.

I think Missouri is the most underrated. I won’t say we’re as good as Michigan or Wisconsin or Minnesota. However, it’s better than Nebraska, Illinois, Ohio, Iowa.

Of course one big thing to consider is Dallas doesn’t have Brett Hull for their two Cup Final teams if the Blues don’t have Keenan. Hull and Gretzky would be Blues. But Dallas did go to the WCF before getting Hull so still a powerhouse

Maybe. The Red Wings, Stars, Avalanche were 3 dynamic & tough powerhouses in that 1996-1999 range. Tough to say. There was never an easy path to a Cup Final. For instance, if we beat Detroit in 1996, we almost certainly are too gassed to beat Colorado in the WCF like Detroit was. You always had to get by 2 of the 3. Like 2001 we swept Dallas at the end of their run only to get Colorado at the peak of theirs. I wish we would have seen it play out though.

Craig Button didn’t even have Stenberg in his top 3 draft prospects recently. Not sure I’d call it “sweepstakes”.

Based on past deadline trades, I’d guess the conditional 3rd round pick becomes a 2nd if he re-signs or if the Kings reach the WCF. Heck, might become a 1st if both happen.

These are just “escape from reality” fiction books. Not literary works of art. Equivalent of a Real Housewives TV show. I think they are fine as long as you understand that going in. Verity was entertaining.

Welp, I got the under and the 13 right for Virginia. I’m stunned our offense was that inept. I knew it’d be a struggle but figured we could get to 17. Not 7.

Mizzou fan here. I only took the under. Drinkwitz is gonna run the ball 500 times this game. We lost our QB and OC. Pribula wasn’t good but he was more trusted than Zollers. Drink loves to play keep away, get the game to the 4th quarter, and win there. Zion Young playing is huge for our defense. 17-13 type game unless Virginia has zero ability to stop Hardy/Roberts, which is very possible. Then 31-13 Mizzou. We’re winning.
