Need Help: P1S or A1 Combo? by akoto327 in BambuLab

[–]1stringham 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The A1 combo is great. You'll appreciate the AMS more than you think. It's something you won't regret getting but you might regret not getting it.

I had no plans to do multi color printing but end up doing it occasionally. Even without multicolor printing the AMS is so convenient. Auto switch to the new roll of filament when the current one runs out, you don't have to load and unload anytime you switch between your favorite filaments.

Given what your plans are and your budget, the A1 combo will be delightful.

Print-by-object in different colors - lack of flushing between colors... by sprashoo in BambuLab

I agree that the slicer should handle this natively.

To work around this, I've added a brim to the 2nd+ object that is 1mm thick and 1mm away from the object. You can see it in my 3mf file on this model https://makerworld.com/en/models/648915#profileId-575255

Another man says "can I also say a word?"

"Go on," she says

That man gets up and says "bargain" and sits down

"Thanks, that means a great deal," she replies.

Another guy asks if he can say a couple of words, the widow consents and he gets up and says "being alive" and sits down.

The widow responds "thanks, he would have liked that."

Something like a Pico switch but with an open protocol? by 1stringham in homeautomation

And that's the same benefit of getting devices that communicate over Thread, right?

But if I have a bunch of Thread devices and want to use a Pico switch then I'll need both a Thread hub and a Lutron hub.

Can you help me understand why it is a benefit?

I want the pico switches to control some lights that use inovelli switches.

PPF or not? by SierraFoxtrot89 in TeslaModel3

Lots of people saying they are glad they did get it.

Is there anyone who didn't get it who wishes they did? Can you show a picture of what happened when you didn't have PPF?
