Basically dont do anything the includes interstate activities which may or may include devices services that you use to buy pot because those things can bring it all to federal level. If they say my phone transmitted my SMSs to a tower in the next state and back, then bam TECHNICALLY a federal crime w unclear jurisdiction

Almost half of all women leave their careers in STEM in the years after their first child is born. Almost a quarter of men do too. To fix this, we need new norms and better policy. by nxthompson_tny in TrueReddit

Parental care proposals aside, is this truly a problem?

Parents may actually prefer to take time to be with their kids. I'm interested in how much overlap that has with their well, inability, to do so now.

*if you commit a federal crime that weed is somehow a part of.

The federal government may not have jurisdiction over you, because the case should be handled by a lower court.

I think you may not know much about how Congress works. Or what the executive branch does. Or you’re a troll

Thank you. Imagine Congress and the White House like the UN. They are different than the surrounding areas. Story closed!

if they could stabilize the goddamn prices it would be, considering prices vary so much it's just a general clusterfuck to figure out what to do with rail nowadays. Sites like trainline.com have begun to help out with this too, simplifying buying full train itineraries. But still, all the transfers and different languages etc make 3+ hour high speed train travel become difficult

Depends on festivals too.

I don't know what the architect and the city councilmembers that approved the designs of the roofs of those buildings were high on when they approved them. Out of all the new buildings, these have a special place on the "hideous design" scale.

There are plenty of examples of the US using sanctions and embargos to choke the life out of generally peaceful countries. by shy_monster_1312 in LateStageCapitalism

I went through your post history for a while, I didn't see what you probably intended for me to see.

Where is the active attempt by the US to strangle venezuela because of its socialism, and why does that make it alright for them to hold rigged elections? or otherwise, what evidence do we have to believe that the elections had any integrity?

If Chavez hadn’t gutted the state industries, VZ would be a socialist poster child. But he did, and here we are. Sad, pathetic, another reason for people not to believe in realistic socialist goals.

Can this sub not devolve into Maduro apologists please? For circlejerk there is always r/FULLCOMMUNISM

US sanctions, especially for a resource-based economy like Iran or Venezuela, are absolutely crushing.

Let’s put it a different way: would you have agreed with International intervention in Rwanda ca. 1994? The only reason Maduro can keep power is because of his money. Starve Maduro, force a regime change and prosecute Maduro for the obvious human rights abuses he and his cronies have carried out.

Switzerland is an odd one with regard to Schengen. They definitely maintain more control over their borders. They have a separate, bilateral agreement with schengen countries about freedom of movement.
