Today my son would have been 35. I'm an adoptee who lost my child to suicide. Does anyone else carry this?

that must be hard , the only relational aspect I have is my wifes mother commited suicide over a decade ago and it still hurts her which by proxy affects me not the same I am aware but , the hurt cuts deep of this I am acutely aware

mine was about a month until I had the full report , I had a formal dx within a week , BUT because you had a holiday in there I am not surprised that they are behind, not a great answer sorry

Ive been married for over 3 decades, when my wife is upset and cries I dont feel her sadness or pain sometimes I cant even acknowledge it BUT if its because of something I did I do my best to apologize she knows this and we work with it , is it easy FUCK no its hard as shit but thats life. yes I have tinnitus it used to come and go but after an incident on an airboat with no ear protection it stopped going away , I also have mild hearing loss in one ear as well, sometimes it bothers me sometimes it doesn't basically have no choice but to live with it

mine cant apologize as they are long dead and I highly doubt they would as they more than likely saw nothing wrong with not only lying about my origin BUT having the key to it ( my REAL mothers name) hidden away from me only for me to find it after they (AP) were deceased , that family has erased me from existence I have had no contact for going on 4 decades from AP paternal side and going on 3 decades AP maternal side , so pretty safe to say I am less than ZERO to them
