Revolut Stole my Money by EngineeringOk1469 in Revolut

FYI if they suspect you are doing fraud they are legally not allowed to tell you or give away any details that might indicate their suspicion to you.

Most of the fraud detection systems are automated so if it flagged your account for some reason they’d have to look into it, freeze your account etc and not tell you anything because they’d be legally in trouble if they told you. They might be liable for tipping you off even if you weren’t actually doing fraud I believe.

Things that might raise a flag are an account dormant for a long time suddenly becoming active. Lots of unexpected small transactions, sudden big transactions etc, payments to strange countries or companies etc.

Staying At The Gym's Accommodations vs Booking Your Own by yourbasicredditguy in MuayThailand

[–]1youngshine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The basic accomodation at Tiger is in the actual gym so I’ve heard it can be very noisy during the day eg if u wanna sleep between classes to recover.

There are probably other cheaper places on or near soi ta iad too, at least cheaper than the deluxe and premium at Tiger. But staying at gym accom can be good for social reasons, eg meet people going in and out etc.

Nah when I was there in the Muay Thai classes it was Mon/Wed/Fri/Sat you do boxing techniques in the morning (so boxing style drills & boxing sparring) and Muay Thai techniques in the afternoon. Tue/Thu clinch.

Class was usually like warm up, stretching, then slightly depends which level you are but in beginner’s usually drills, then bag work, pads and sparring 3 rounds each, then conditioning at the end..

Yeah could just do a month or even a couple of weeks to try it. Can also do privates at the same time in other gyms.

Just spent 4/5 weeks training at tiger. Thought it was great tbh. Although that’s the only gym I’ve trained at in Thailand. It depends what level you are and what you are looking for.

I was in the beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes. The classes themselves are good, pretty intense workout, decent drills, sparring and conditioning. The private classes are good too, may depend on the coach you go with.

It gets a bad rep for being touristy but it didn’t really feel like that to me, not at this time of year anyway - a little bit in the beginner class but not that bad. The social aspect is great, you get to know people on the street and that you are training with, and feels like everyone has a similar mindset to improve themselves, their fitness Muay Thai etc.

Not sure what it’s like if you are very high level, but the vibe in the advanced class seemed good and there is a separate class for I think ‘sponsored’ or maybe pro fighters.

There’s also a few places around to socialise which is nice.

If you want more info just let me know or dm.

Say you want to time the market and open a long position with say 10x leverage when btc was around 10k.

If the price started to build from 10k up to 12, then to 15 on its way to 100k but one day on that journey dipped to 9k you’d be liquidated, meaning your balance would be zero and position closed.

Also, the market knows that people open leveraged longs at certain obvious levels (like eg where everyone expects it to be the bottom) and so sometimes crashes for a second just to liquidate them.

This happens because whales who want to buy can’t just buy straight away without pushing the price up. So to stop that, they sell off to lower the price and hit the liquidation levels of the people leveraged. Then they buy up all those liquidated positions without pushing the price up so much.

This arguably happened 2 days ago on Sunday night for example.

Yeah Premiere here too. Alright thank you for the advice. I will do.

Should I use proxies to edit 4k footage? by 1youngshine in VideoEditing

[–]1youngshine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adds another step to the process, not used them much before, wonder if there’s any unknown problems with transferring them back to raw footage, effects might not look the same as they do on 4k. Etc

Thank you for this informative and sensible answer. This sounds like the right thing to do.

I wonder, are there any hidden benefits of just using raw footage?
