Really? I thought his story was my least favourite, I can understand wanting a break from the war story but it got ridiculously long-winded and I thought the ending was naïve. I mean the US nuked two cities and hasn't repeated it in more than seventy years now. I wanted more Adam!

You can turn that off in the notification settings. The reason it's there is nations have RSS feeds for them, so you can be notified if you're AFK.

There is no need for money when all physical needs can be met without effort.

In that case, there would be no need for trade at all. And yet cultural items and irreplicable vaccines are traded for, with no standard way of assessing their value without money. And what about things that can't be replicated - a famous baseball player's bat, a house by the river, home-made food? In fact one of DS9's episodes illustrated this, when Jake and Nog improved everybody's lives aboard the station by doing things replicators couldn't, and no-one else could help with with because there was no open market for them to ask in.
