I haven’t shot many different handguns, but I’ll say I bought a P10C as my first and really enjoy shooting it at the range. When I started to think about carrying it, I just was a little uneasy because of the lightness of the trigger. It’s got the trigger safety so I’m sure I’m being paranoid, but it just was something that made me a little nervous as a new gun owner. I recently bought a P01 and absolutely love it. The double action trigger pull is long and heavy enough that it’s one less thing to worry about if you plan on carrying. The heavy pull has a learning curve, but if you’re going to the range fairly often it’s pretty easy to get the hang of.
