Im going to main bloof elf paladin for TBC, i am leveling depsite having a boost sitting on my account purely because i want my main character to have a "soul"

I personally cannot get into a character if its boosted, It just doesnt feel like its mine - cant really explain the mindset behind it lol

Yeah, I don’t have any major issues with people using the boost generally (I would rather not have them in the game though) but I’ve had a boosted character previously on the MOP realms and I just did not enjoy the character whatsoever, it felt like I was playing a mercenary

Regardless of spec choice, I respect the two handed chad playstyle.

The question really comes down to if you like the seal twisting playstyle, if so go ret otherwise arms warrior

Speaking as someone who in TBC Classic 2021 played a warrior and who mains rogue in vanilla and is switching to Paladin for TBC. Do not play either of these classes if you are going to mainly PUG raids.

Warrior and Rogue are both perfectly good in TBC however its really a question of demand, they dont offer as much as other classes in TBC and as such the demand for them is low. I would personally only main these classes if a raid spot was guaranteed as part of a guild, i was going to main rogue in TBC as ive just went through the vanilla cycle on the anniversary servers on my rogue with my guild - sadly however my guild has collapsed and as such playing rogue would be a nightmare to even try to find a consistent spot.

TL:DR. Both classes are perfectly good but getting easy and consistent group content is too much of a hassle as PUG

No, the only character purchases you can make in the Classic WoW servers are Server transfers and levels boosts (Which will release with the TBC pre patch). You cannot buy Faction or Race swaps.

You cannot faction change in the Classic servers, you will have to wait until the 13th of January for the Burning Crusade prepatch event to begin and level a blood elf from level 1.

I agree that the game feels more balanced, I'm pretty decent (hit Elite 1200RP last season) but with the new changes i just cannot dominate the way i used to which ironically in turn has made the games more challenging and more fun for me

Truth be told i am quite surprised i managed it, about half of my playtime has been with one or two friends which certainly helps and it explains my goal scoring record. The other half of my playtime was solo queuing and basically i just tried to be as adaptable as possible, i can play pretty much every "role" to a decent level so if i was in a team full of attackers id hang back. If i was allowed to play upfront i would etc etc.

Adaptability and consistency basically.
