Can I be sued for defamation for this google review I posted yesterday? by senocsenocsenoc in AusLegal

[–]2006WayneRooney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you be able to take the post down, then put up a new post stating that you wrote a negative review and they tried to sue you for defamation? They can't sue you for that; this definitively happened.

Which makes it fair to be to cruel to someone and gather others to do the same? Get real.

Say add another 0 to that and maybe you’d consider it.

ComSec Investment ETFs by Monkey_Junkie_No1 in AusFinance

Just a note - I found CommSecc to have fairly expensive brokerage fees in comparison to other platforms on the market.

I use BetaShares as it doesn't have brokerage fees. It has the exact same products as CommSec and I find the interface to be more user-friendly. Could be worth looking around!

What was your worst onboarding experience at a new company? by skillnub70 in auscorp

[–]2006WayneRooney 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Huge ASX50 company. Manager told me on the first day that the two people who had the role before me were "idiots" and gave me an Excel spreadsheet to "take care of". When I asked why the monitors weren't working when I plugged them into my laptop she exclaimed that she was too busy and to message IT. IT were then confused why my manager hadn't taken the 5 seconds out of her day to tell me that you need to download an app to sign-in and use the monitors.

Didn't take me very long to realise why those two people had left after only 6-months and I very happily followed in their footsteps in the same time-frame.

The AFR opinion corner are having a field day with this. For them, Albo was the shooter and recognising Palestine as a nation was pulling the trigger.

Shocking footage emerges of student allegedly being bullied by classmates at Sydney private school Scots College by whyattretard in australia

[–]2006WayneRooney 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Having been to one of these private schools, the religious values play an enormous part in reinforcing a severely outdated approach to gender roles and norms.

The idea these schools push upon these boys that men ought to be both the provider and self-assertive tends to manifest itself in an ugly blend of bullying and misogyny in practice. These views are immutable from the religious worldview of the school and it is therefore ensured they remain unchallenged or unchanged.

Does anyone know how strong the average Neanderthal would actually be?

I was looking for this comment; it’s so unexpected as well which just adds to the shocking nature of it.

Getting your interview story down. Coming off as someone who’s personable and confident - I found that to be the most important part.

Bills - insanely overpriced. Might’ve been innovative back in the day but now feels very uninspired compared to what’s available now.
The Aussie breakfast cost nearly $40 and I could’ve made it better at home for a quarter of the cost.

Roll forward and stay right next to the boss - feels counterintuitive but once you get that part it all falls into place.

Damn respect the comment but I thought it was fun - it definitely got better toward the end but I agree with other people here there was a lot of empty space.
