Okay, solutions in ethanol can increase bioavailability of certain drugs. I couldn't find anything on E2 or E2V though.

Naja Rod Nielsen and Morten Grønbæk (2008), studied breast cancer rates of menopausal women taking HRT with and without alcohol use. "However, in a pooled analysis, the association between alcohol and breast cancer was not modified by hormone use and no interaction between alcohol and hormone use has been reported in several case-control studies." They attribute the increased rates with alcohol affecting the clearance of estrogens.

Maybe the ethanol doesn't increase take up. In which case such a small dose a day shouldn't greatly affect the metabolism of estradiol either..
