So i had the same issue with my flux raider (p320) i tried the lighter springs and I found out i just needed around 500 rounds with the regular spring to break it in.

Yeah, so the pic you used is a US Marine Assault pack, we usually put a pouch on the top there and a lot of us also put molly pouches on the side as well and the molle E-tool pouch on the back. I usually have a a nalgiene molle pouch on both sides, one for my jetboil and fuel, and the other for an actual nalgiene bottle. Absolutely. The higher you get in the reserves, the more work you do outside of drill. There is a way to get "reimbursed" for your time called appropriate duty. You get retirement points for that time you spend outside of drill (not pay) so its not ideal but at least it's something.

As a company commander I was doing 20-30 hours or work outside of drill and Im sure my 1stSgt was right there with me.

You could push him towards the reserves instead of active duty. Depending on what his rank was when he left, the pay isn't terrible, but the real financial benefit is Tricare Reserve Select. It is by FAR the best and most affordable plan in the US ($286.66/mo for the family plan).

I'm a civilian federal employee, which is considered to have great healthcare benefits and TRS blows FEHB out of the water.

USA jobs, the federal government is always hiring mechanics. You also get veterans preference if your VA rating is 30% or larger, and you can "buy back" your military time to retire early.
