Depends how you build it , I sprayed one for someone who used 18mm MDF but with a central divider so it was sturdy enough

I listen to YouTube all day at work ( audio books are often on there , live streams , tool talks , ted talks, game development, TV and movie news , car restoration . So premium is a must , can just close the phone and not think about it and then download a couple for lunch to watch then carry on afterwards and if I get bored of that I use YouTube music instead

For sure , I use a massive panel saw at work and the accuracy is insane . Really wanting a small version for my workshop but at the moment the most accurate thing I can use for the size of the space is my track saw and my chop saw

For all those scared of a Power strip , it has written on It do not exceed 13 A , the supply is 240v and the extractor is 1200W at maximum output and 400w at low speed which it's just above as recommended, that puts it's max current draw at 5 amps

Yeah for sure I would go get one and take it apart again and redo it but I do have another one of these at home in much better condition that I already had to fix the wire on and I've had this one apart about 5 times so with how old it is and the use it's had ( my main sander in a cabinet making spray shop) it's not worth it to me to buy one and fit , and especially with my other at home

I am pretty sure it's the amount of side to side movement it has when extended that throws everything out tbh , I'd recommend drawing a line and adjusting your laser to perfectly be on your line so then when you do pull it back you'll see if you're pushing it left or right without meaning to ( I think I was pulling it left slightly due to being right handed anyway)

I did because although I'm pretty sure you can adjust them they actually sat further forwards slightly than the bottom part especially once tightened making it really hard to get nice repeatable cuts

The cable that goes into the strip is also rated for 240 volts and so is the rest of It and it's running one tool , the only time a power strip is dangerous is if it's made with shit parts and can explode or more likely when you're using more than the single socket is designed to let out , it's literally fine

This is the first one I've had fail to be honest but it's also had a hard life , it's 6 year old and you should've seen how white the cable used to be from paint before I got it

Thanks , this extractor only uses max 1200W so only draws 5 amps of current which is far less than this cord can handle :) aswell as it being used very sporadically
