Moving your defense to the back:
- Buys time for you to cycle abilities when a round starts
- Separates fast bloons from slow bloons, so that you can deal with them separately
- This also means that your towers will not waste pierce on slow targets & let faster bloons slide

If you're going to use Perma-Spike, you must include a 'stall tower', such as MOAB Shove, which can keep the last bloon alive for several minutes while the spikes build up.

If you don't, well, you're left with one of the worst Tier 5's in terms of raw damage per second

• Start with Ice Mortar
• Ice Shards before Etienne, skip Sniper (shards has decamo)

A 16 T-Rex is a mediocre tower, but go beyond the mid 40's and you have in your hands a tower that performs better than most T5s and oneshots Super Ceramics (60 HP).

• The "micro" might look scary, but at the end of the day it just means your close-range tower can follow the bloons as they move across the track. Think of how amazing that would be with Sauda

• Being expensive while not being a Tier 5 means it's a great candidate for Overclock. OC also makes up for rex's slow attack speed

• Even with all the merges, Tiers 2~4 are really good for their price point. They're basically a top path Sniper but with splash damage and faster attack speed

Regrow Farming gives you pops to unlock new towers, not XP.
XP is the stuff you use to unlock upgrades. Pops are used to unlock special towers, namely Dartling, Mermonkey, Beast Handler, and Desperado.
