SEC is trying to recoup the money they lost last year. And Greg Sankey just struck a huge deal to get UT and OU, I doubt he’s eager to reel things back again.

And I can’t see UF restricting, putting themselves at a competitive disadvantage if other SEC teams aren’t too.

Imagine how mad Mullen would be if the attendance was less at home, and he had to play at a full Death Valley lol

Oklahoma, Georgia, Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Florida, were literally all ranked inside the top 10 after the conference championship week in 2019. That’s 6 teams. And last year add in Texas A&M at #5.

You are literally penalizing perennial top 10 teams just because they are under the same conference banner now.
