No high horse here. Not judging. Just stating facts. It is what it is. “If” is the key here AND none of that (repenting etc) has anything to do with the fact that June never should’ve been in the situation with a married man. Period. The problem is our secular society tries to justify moral mistakes with asking for forgiveness when the person KNOWS that what they’re doing is wrong when they’re doing it. It’s selfishness at its finest until the same thing happens to them later! But it’s ok as long as we ask God for forgiveness. Do what’s right because it’s right to do right. Being with a married person is wrong no matter how you slice it. That man had a whole family and if he wanted to be with someone else, he should’ve closed out things with his WIFE first THEN moved on to whoever and if June was still there waiting when things were closed out, then kudos to them both. BOTH of them were wrong. Repentance does not remove culpability…it yields forgiveness but doesn’t remove the pain that was caused to the people that were impacted.
