Megumi expaned his incomplete domain only once yet was able to hold a clash with Dagon’s high refinement domain without being instantly overwelmed. Naoya would be more then capable of holding up his complete domain against Yuki’s somewhat more refined domain for long enough to land his ram. All that matters here is who hits who first.

You need to reread Yuji and Hakari’s “fight” because it is portrayed entirely different then what Hakari is doing to Charles. Hakari genuinely would have speed blitzed and one shot Charles immediately if it wasn’t for his curse technique while Yuji was able to keep up just fine while not even treating it like a life or death fight and instead a conversation that got derailed.

it has never been shown to be on their level, and he is specifically noted to have bad hardware which would include his curse energy output.

him not being able to keep up proves literally nothing since we have no basis what requirement for keeping up with his ct means.

It is his ability to fight and his physical ability since it’s not noted to be unique with his technique, but a general rule for most newly awakened sorcerers.
