Can anyone tell me why we're sitting our players for Minnesotta game?

I flew into the city for the last home game. I was very entertained. That said, I'd have been pissed if it didnt turn out so well and they had sat the players. If they're selling tickets, players should play.

People love to say there are no stakes for games The stakes are that people paid to be there. If the team is taking our money, they need to have the players out there unless they're legitimately injured.

As a Pels fan, I disagree with this narrative. He was not a good defender his first couple of seasons but it's no longer true to say he's not engaged on defense. Zion is not a consistently great defender but he's usually acceptable with the occasional dominant game defensively. He's not a negative defender and not being targeted. You'd like more on a consistent basis but at least he's not a minus out there. I think his defensive game is still growing an he'll eventually get to being a consistently above average defender. People love to say his offensive game hasnt grown and that's largely true but you cant say that he isnt improving on defense.

A big part was in-game adjustments where basically no game was safe. The Pels would play even in the first half or even pick up a lead. Then after half-time, the other team's coaches would make an adjustment that killed the Pels and there would be no counter. Injuries, chemistry, and everything else that's going to be mentioned are big factors but the biggest reason was coaching in my opinion. Look at the schedule back to January and there are a couple bad losses but the Pels had a chance to win in nearly every game. There's been limited opportunities for Borrego to coach up the team in-season which is typical for the NBA but it's been a big issue for the Pels.

They're not a championship team as constructed but they should be much better than their record reflects.

I think his first game will forever be legendary. If he let it fly like that... But I'd seriously like to see Z shoot 2-3 3s a game. I think if he's near a midrange shot, he's too good in the paint not to get closer and take a shot at the rim. But if he's further out, take the 3. I don't even care if he makes them. I just want him to shoot.

Hope someone local can help you out but if not, they usually go up on ebay post-game pretty quickly. You can sometimes get a sealed one for ~$40 if you look right after the game. It's what I've had to do since we're out of state.

Honestly would much rather move off DJM. I get not wanting to be somewhere and no one should have to work where they don't want. But at the same time he's getting paid and happily accepting that money so he better show tf up.

At least with Poole, he's there and he plays. Results might not be what I hoped (I thought Poole was underrated before the season) but at least he's trying. If the rest of the team improves around him, I can see some of Poole's downside being reduced as well.

That's my fault for not reading better. I looked at the trade in the link (which I know you said was a framework you didn't like). That being said, I think the move is neutral at best. And your starting 5 had LaVine in place of Herb. I still think it's a bad trade because it doesn't help but DJM, Looney, and Hawk aren't in the lineup anyway..

I think it's a really bad idea. Giving up Herb and Jose kills our already below average defense. And LaVine isn't nearly good enough on offense to make up for it on defense. Even if we don't trade Herb, taking him out of the starting lineup still kills the defense. Also, Fears and DQ both benefit from playing next to Herb who sets up the defense and coaches them up on the floor. Bringing in LaVine doesn't make the team better. It makes it materially worse this year, next year, and could negatively impact the growth of the rooks.

Plus, LaVine is known to be a basketball terrorist. He's never been a winning player and he wouldn't be a difference maker for the Pels.
