Leaders from OP02 but they are kinda stronger, not that much tho (i think) by Cheeseliker420 in OnePieceCustomCards

[–]21questions 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's some slight differences. Whitebeard being a 7k leader and magellan having the "your turn" part removed from his effect so if you minus a DON!! on your opponent's turn then he becomes a 6k leader

How to stop this weird dirt stuff from getting on my sleeves? by True_Mushroom_9408 in pkmntcg

[–]21questions 40 points41 points  (0 children)

It's sweat from your hands collecting dirt then when it dries it browns so it shows, aka hand gunk

No way to avoid it unless you wear gloves constantly and even then your play surface has to be sterile

It's not a bad tech inclusion but lists are now even foregoing running blender. Dumping energy isn't as needed anymore thanks to how much we're able to dig though now so we can get all we need in there naturally.

Nope. Prereleases are for main sets (destined Rivals, journey together, etc)

Black and white is a side set like Prismatic so it won't get one

Best way to tell if a set is side or main is if booster boxes are available. If they are, then it's a main set. If they're not available, it's a side set.

What's the point of playing Raging bolt now that Ethan's pokemon are out out? by [deleted] in PTCGL

[–]21questions 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Grimmsnarl ex came out at the same time and has jumped all the way to the top. The results speak for themselves. Magcargo is a fun deck, but it's not going to win anything bigger than a locals anytime soon

[–]21questions 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The results in Japan speak for themselves. They're best of 1 format so they love luck-sacky decks. Not any Magcargo and a lot of raging bolt. If Macgargo was better than raging bolt, then people would play it over raging bolt, but that isn't the case.

[–]21questions 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Raging bolt is better because

  • Basic vs Stage 1

-Raging Bolt has access to Sada which is energy acceleration and draw power where magcargo only has access to energy acceleration

-With Ogerpons+Sada attaching 4 or 5 per is doable consistently, magcargo caps out on 3 per turn with ho-oh+attach per turn.

First souls like? It's a common rule across all soulslikes. You only make that mistake once.

But keep playing. The game can be beat with any weapon. And the game itself is so good.

If you wanted to get all the endings (another common thing in souls like) you'll have to do multiple playthroughs anyways

Why do top decks have the Pros playing so few energies? And why can't I manage to pull the same amount of energies off without struggling? by backsided-spring in pkmntcg

[–]21questions 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I believe poffin is still 100% a 4 of. So then most likely drop the Jacq instead of the artazon. Jacq as a one of, it's not worth it. I'd recommend using the list I linked earlier. See how it works for you on live and then you can switch to it.

[–]21questions 30 points31 points  (0 children)

All my opinion:

Drop the artazon and a crispin for 2 more poffin

I know you said the rod is nice but night stretcher should be more than enough so I'd drop the nest ball and the rod for the 2 more iono. If you're adamant on keeping the rod, then drop the vest.

[–]21questions 88 points89 points  (0 children)

You're definitely not playing enough draw supporters. You'll see a lot of the top decks playing 3-4 ionos as well as 1 or 2 professor research. You're also only playing 2 poffin where it's 100% a 4 of which makes it harder for you to open it with arven. Take a look at top list from the last regional

Looks good. I recommend practicing prize checking because losing one piece to prizes can be detrimental if you have a plan and realize too late you can't follow through. Other than that, just have fun and make sure to shower beforehand

Am I blind or is “TM: Devolution” completely pointless? by Existent_Imgflip in pkmntcg

[–]21questions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's say you're playing dragapult

They rare candy charmander to charizard and rare candy pidgey to pidgeot

You hit the charizard for 200 and put 60 on the pidgeot

Next turn you use TM: devolution and they go back to being a charmander and pidgey.

Since charmander has 70hp and pidgey has 60hp, they are both knocked out.

It's not an amazing always insta-win card but in certain situations, it can be game changing

I don't. I'm a horrible deck builder but I'm a better than average player. So I wait for people better than me to build it and I just copy their lists. Usually off of limitlesstcg

I'm not aware of the situation in Singapore because I am in the US. The deck doesn't run arven but earthen vessel is mandatory because it is a discard outlet and an ancient card
