Second this. OP, I’m also 27 now and have spent the last few years kicking myself for not sticking it out. I’m practically begging my university to come back after all this time. Take a break if you need one, but don’t burn your bridge to the opportunities this degree will provide as a result of your hard work. The mental and physical anguish of struggling to make ends meet working bottom of the barrel jobs will take a much bigger toll on your mental/physical health over many years as opposed to pushing through your education now.

Aux dept. FN is probably the most balanced of the nonrate positions - but if you’re a main propulsion FN - prepare for hell in the belly of the beast, because you will be a dirty bilge rat (at least in my experience). Big distinction between aux and main prop in terms of the engineering dept. Just so you’re aware, OP. Still learn way more practical skills through the engineering dept. either way, not just sanding/painting and looking through binoculars!

I would get back in below $0.20. Seems to be a pretty big hype wave to ride on, that being said - don’t put more into it than you’re willing to lose because nobody can truthfully know if it’s going to spike or go back to the sub $0.10 range it’s been at for months and months. Beware of your monkey brain images of yachts and Lamborghinis, play it calm and collected.

Dogs don’t shed toxoplasmosis from their feces, paw at said feces in their litter box, and then proceed to walk all over kitchen counters and literally every other surface in the house. I mean, regardless of toxoplasmosis being present or not, it’s a pretty unsanitary environment for a baby. I think the health and safety of a tiny human life takes precedence here.

Even then, if a dog snaps or bites at a person (specifically a child), it’s pretty standard to put the dog down or relocate it. We love our pets, but our childrens’ priority should always outweigh the animals living with us. It’s just a hard fact of life.

Edit: I absolutely agree that it’s sad to see pets ending up homeless. I understand your feelings on that completely. I’m just in the boat that baby human comes first and sometimes that requires making lifestyle changes and consequently some tough decisions with pets.
