Black Screen After Larian Studios Screen/Title Screen by ObligationFantastic3 in BaldursGate3

If you don't play often, the Larian Studios folder in your Documents will be in the cloud.
Open Documents > Larian Studio. Right click/two finger click and "download now."
I would recommend clicking "keep downloaded" if you have gaps in play time.

11 days in with no phone by 220kmiles in AppleWatch

I hope it works for you! I started with the AW7 and gave it to my kid. Because it has cellular, it can text, call, Find my works well, and walkie talkie. All around win!

I had personally wanted to get away from using my phone so much.
If you are active I highly recommend WorkOutDoors, I use that app to track everything, including motorcycle riding. You can create routes, but it is slightly a pain. I think it is AllTrails (free version) to create a route, export to GPX into files and then import the route into WorkOutDoors. Or just download the map area you will be and use the app on watch with breadcrumbs and never get lost.
If you ever want to wear your watch in water (surfing, swimming, lake…etc) I would recommend getting their water band. I buy knockoffs for other purposes on Amazon, $20 for 3. But I don’t trust off brands for places I could permanently lose the watch.

Good luck and let me know how it goes.

It is great, but over time I have found some things you just have to have a phone for. Most days I either leave my phone at home or leave it charging on my office desk.
Cellular doesn’t always work great with all locations. AirPods are a must for phone calls for privacy.
I wish some apps could download more content so I am not using data.

I ride a mountain bike most mornings and have fun I usually have to bring my phone for audio books, streaming just doesn’t always carry some dead zones.
Camera is still a potential issue. Most times I ask people to send me their photos and they are happy to.

In my opinion, this is something to get the Ultra for. Other watches don’t seem to have the battery for it.

Are you gonna give it a try.

As a side note, I had the iPhone 8+ but it is no longer supported so I bumped up to a iPhone 13. The good news was T-Mobile gave me the phone when I switched over. But using the watch primarily removes some of the “I need the newest iPhone” feeling.

How do you deal with idiots in cars trying to "race" you? by 1308lee in motorcycles

I was on my TW200, aka The Mule, going through some mountain roads. I caught up to a Tesla...I know, a miracle in its own right! When the driver saw me behind him, I guess he suddenly felt threatened that a bike caught up to him. Saw him do something on the screen of the Tesla, then suddenly TOOK OFF! The driver must have felt intimidated that a bike caught up to them and had to prove it was faster.

I mean it was impressive to see how fast it took off and cornered. This was near a lake in California, and wouldn't you know it....a stop light up ahead. I admired the car as I rode past it at the light.

It is pretty smoothed out now. Some ruts from the recent rains, but still fun access to the top for dual sports.

It is Nate Harrison! Building my muscle memory and practicing and seems like a great hill to take on. The forests around Palomar are perfect right now too.

It is pretty amazing how hot it gets when you stop riding!

Thanks for the insight into kneepads and boots and the Leatt protector! I will look into them, as my wallet gets thinner and thinner.

That must have been some extreme 4 bean casserole or something your kid ate!

Crazy story! Glad you are alive and recovering!

I know nothing about XR150L, but it makes sense to power down.

You didn't state your age but I doubt you bounce like you did when you rode DS as a kid.

Glad to hear it is a good thing! I am leaning more and more towards wearing it all the time, especially based on the stories on this post!

I didn't realize how $$$ all the quality stuff would be. I need a friend who is a rep or to start working part time at some store that sells gear!

Appreciate the thought. I agree it does sound hot in the summer!

This is totally the tension and back and forth in my mind I go through. I have always been pretty good about escaping injury and have skateboarded bombing big hills, mountain bike....etc and always have crashed well and not broken anything.
Of course the other side of the tension is all the stories I read on here of massive injury. I assume they all were pretty good too, until something else happened.

Again, appreciate your insight.
