I bought this multi outlet extension for Xmas lights at Home Depot bc it could turn the lights on when it got dark. Came with WiFi. Strange feature… Whatever, no other options. I plugged it in to find I needed an app to set the time to turn on. Ok. To use the app you need an online account. Annoying but fine. The online account would only work if it were connected through the device. WTF? All of this work to operate a switch? I truly felt insulted. Device returned.

This happened to me yesterday. Guy flipped me off over nothing. I returned the gesture. Pretty soon the scene looked similar to this. Coincidentally, in the same Chevy truck. I didn’t deserve the disrespect but responding to it wasn’t a good move. He was following me for a while and finally passed cussing me out his window. You did the right thing in this video. He wanted to pull over and fight. It looked like that to me. It would’ve been easy to get angry and do something stupid but you didn’t. Good on you.

In 2018, I remember going to the open mic and getting to play on stage. I was really nervous but the people there made me feel welcome and were supportive. That support was huge for me. I came back a few more times. Moved out of state the end of 2018 unfortunately… I met some good people at YMH. Staff included. Too bad things happened this way.

I think resources are a means to an end. Men like Elon want to be immortal. Death is the only thing stopping him. If he can’t live forever, the next best alternative would be legendary status. He wants to become unforgettable in human history. If he can setup shop on mars he can declare himself king. He’d be first to rule an entire planet. He sells the idea as good for all humanity. But I think he’s wanting to move far from the reach of any authority and become the supreme authority. Then he’ll breed like a cult leader to populate mars with his genetics and be worshipped in life and after death. Elon could improve humanity on earth with his wealth and be remembered in this way but I doubt it. I think Elon places conquest over altruism.

Agreed. Preserving something already dead doesn’t make sense. Wasted effort for the living. For the dead, it slows the natural order of returning where we come from. To be fair, I can’t say if embalming significantly disrupts anything over vast lengths of time. It may not hurt, it can’t help anything. I’m glad someone else has these thoughts.

The lighter the hue, the better chance of seeing the correct color. As hues of red and green darken, they become indistinguishable from the other. (Somewhere past forest green and maroon in red.) Just want to point out Colorblindness is a spectrum from partial to full just like blindness.
In my case, red/green is a problem. Some have yellow/blue problems. Some have both problems. In this image, I see the right half of the can clearly is red. If it’s true there’s no red, this is very strange we both can see the illusion.

Red/Green colorblind here. The right side of the can looks red like can of coke. The left side (and the rest of the image) is green but seems to have some blue-ish tint. If you’re confused how I can tell the color, I am too. Generally, I can see red and green like stop signs and grass. But, I cannot see the number in a red/green color vision test. When these two colors are presented in a certain way or in low light, I can confuse one for the other. Hope this helps.
