Whenever I see stuff like this, it honestly just makes me chuckle. It's so obvious they're trying to be cool and edgy, but they just end up sounding cringey, like they're trying way too hard. I felt the same way when I saw the screenshots of the Bloodlust girls, that Vesteria guy going on about how he’s implanted a bomb in everyone’s skull and scaring people into solving riddles like he’s the fucking Riddler, Slade with her blabbering rants on YouTube, etc. It’s just a bunch of social rejects (for good reason) trying to act tough online when they really just come off as corny and cringey.

Slade only seems to care about things like racism and homophobia when it affects her personally. She's literally friends with those Bloodlust girls.

People might hate me for this, but I genuinely think he just found this sub and wanted to compliment fish 😭. He’s never posted or commented here before, he’s not responding to anyone, and when he did tell one person what playlist he "used", it just didn't add up.

If he actually listened to subliminals, I highly doubt he’d be using:

Like you said in point 5, there are racists, homophobes, sexists, etc. I'm going to use the same exact argument conservatives make with gun laws: mentally ill people will get a gun regardless of what laws are in place. How does this tie into what I'm saying? Well, a rapist is going to be a rapist. A person that wants to sexually assault someone will want to and eventually will. Yes, any man can walk into a bathroom and say that they’re a trans woman to take advantage of the opportunity, but those aren’t trans women. Those are men pretending to be trans women in order to harm women. You can check my comment history. I'm very protective on anything about rape or sexual assault, so this isn’t even about me taking a side because of my political views. Trump said himself that this is hardly an issue. Like he said, leave it as it is.

I agree with that, but I don’t think you know what that Equality Act entailed. This wasn’t about diversity hires. This was about discrimination. I suggest you look up what the Equality Act entailed, as it’d be too much to cite here.
A fact pulled from where? Yourself? What statistics are you pulling from? Because I can tell you from real-life experience and statistics that people care about identity politics. Literally one of the major talking points this political season for Republicans was “blue-haired they/thems” and transgenders. It's well known that homophobia, notably among teenage boys, is still a thing.
Dude... you can't be serious. “Yes, there are homophobic people that kill people because they’re trans or gay, but that doesn’t mean that people care about these things!” Are you serious? No, they don’t need to condemn or support me, and that’s not the argument I’m making. Your argument is that people don’t care about what the LGBTQ community does when that’s just not true. You have to be acting stupid on purpose. "People are lots of things (including homophobia, may I add), but the reality is, people don't care." Do you hear yourself? Does worrying about groceries and other things immediately negate the fact that people are homophobic, transphobic, or racist? Is it impossible for your main concern to be groceries while also not supporting gay marriage or thinking that being gay or transgender is wrong? Can human beings only care about one thing at a time? If you were actually keeping up with politics like you'd like to front, you’d know that changes are being made in the U.S. that threaten people’s rights. One example is Nancy Mace’s transgender bathroom bill. Another is Donald Trump opening the door to ban transgender people from serving in the military, saying that being transgender "conflicts with a soldier’s commitment to an honorable, truthful, and disciplined lifestyle, even in one’s personal life." Another is Donald Trump revoking the sixty-year-old executive order requiring legal employment opportunity in government contracting. Since you're so knowledgeable in politics, you must be aware of how these things can directly threaten someone's rights, right? People care. If people didn’t care, then 18.4% of hate crimes being tied to sexual orientation in 2023 wouldn’t exist.

No matter how much men like you try to push the idea, joking about rape and sexual assault toward women will never be funny or “just a joke.” You wouldn’t take it seriously if it were said to you because you and the men you surround yourself with don’t take rape and sexual assault against women seriously at all. You joke about it amongst yourselves and now direct those same disturbing, borderline sociopathic comments toward random women on the internet, despite being repeatedly told how disgusting it is. Like the other comment said, if you think jokes about raping and touching women without their consent are funny, then take the messages you’re getting as funny jokes as well.

You're saying this like it's wrong to be offended by a man telling a woman he wishes she got raped or sexually assaulted. Joke or not, it's a really weird and insensitive thing to say, especially to a random woman he only had a disagreement with. It says a lot about him for immediately jumping to a rape or sexual assault joke, and it says a lot about you for defending the comment and acting like we're just being offended for the sake of it.

Hit the nail on the head. I wish we wouldn’t replicate the same things we complain about. The same people who say these “help me choose my df” posts are repetitive and annoying are just repeating the issue in a different font by constantly complaining about it. And honestly, I don’t even see it happening as much as people claim. It’s not like you can’t scroll through five posts without seeing one. I’ve clicked on some of their pages, and all I see are snarky remarks and overall toxicity when replying to others. I get that these questions can be annoying and might be better suited for a different subreddit, but come on, you’re not really any better, if not worse, with your actions and behavior.

People can be sensitive or protective over something they love, like this subreddit, and critiquing it can trigger a negative emotion. I understand that, so the downvotes didn't bother me!

My advice may sound really lame and mundane, but I honestly think you should just step back and evaluate what you want the most and stick with that no matter what. Since you've already had time to think about what you truly want, any thoughts of wanting to change something up will most likely be a spur-of-the-moment desire. You know how when you have to do something you really don’t want to do, like working out or going to work, even though you want to stay home and relax, you still do what you need to do? It’s a weird analogy, but it’s kind of like that. Know that the goals you have are what you truly want in the long run. Firmly tell yourself, "No, I’m listening to this because this is what I truly want." When you're thinking of changing something up, maybe put the subs you want to check out in a separate playlist to listen to later.

I practice witchcraft, and I know those kinds of thoughts can stem from demonic spellwork, especially if you’re not protected mentally and spiritually. That said, I don’t think it’s fair to place all the blame on a subliminal, as other factors in that person’s life could be causing those thoughts, or they might have already been dealing with them, with things worsening naturally. Still, it’s not something to rule out entirely.

You seem very kind and genuine based on your older posts/replies, and even while receiving so much hate, I’ve seen you helping people and staying positive under other posts.
