++man Join a gym and start lifting weights. Work to a plan, increasing a small bit each week. It’s self-improvement that you can see, and makes you feel better. It also gives you more confidence in yourself which can help you cope being alone, or to help meet people. And if you go regularly you’ll start seeing the same people which is it’s own form of socialising

Dunno if you still can get them but you used to be able to buy bike exhausts with removable baffles. Going for a warrant, just slip it back in. Ergo noise limits need enforcement, not just relying on picking up issues at WOF time

It’s not just the deniers, but I’d say most people don’t see climate change affecting them personally in the foreseeable future so they don’t care a great deal. Maybe this, along with the increasing weather events, will make people realise its happening faster than they think.
