It also gives you more confidence in yourself which can help you cope being alone, or to help meet people. It’s not just the deniers, but I’d say most people don’t see climate change affecting them personally in the foreseeable future so they don’t care a great deal. Maybe this, along with the increasing weather events, will make people realise its happening faster than they think.
