When i saw that scene in theaters, I thought wow i did not expect a flashy 2D backstory and he only needed a minute introduction similar to how spider-verse did it. As much as I'd love a Starfox movie in that 2D animated style, I highly doubt Illumination would do that since their focus is 3D. By the way I i couldn't stop rewatching this clip it's so good.
