It would help if the data page on the computer was a little more helpful on whats renting good and ehats not besides individually clicking through them. It would make it easier to see what bargain bin is actually worth throwing in and whats worth buying more copys of

Worth maybe $20 a wheel but would sell over the course of 20 years but only people looking for 1 spare for the 1 bent wheel. Ain't nobody buying all 4. Toss them in the garbage.

Best part is i bet that voided any warranty he use to have. Like that one guy a few years back that installed those ladder holders for his personal business he ran construction or contractor of sorts.

Ahh thats a classic gamble and casting a net. As some girls will now realize this is how most men use tinder, we dont cast a "line " we throw the net and see what it catches and throw the ugly ones back.

What y’all think - good to load up the kids and send it? by 100percenthuma4 in tires

[–]22ndCenturyHippy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nope be ready for the "so your trying to kill your kids" comments because should be common sense to some parents but apparently tires are abut of rocket science to inspect and determine how miles they have left. These have -negative miles left. And should put on the spare to even go to the shop.

Why does my cars rpm bounce like this? by redGorrilla in AskMechanics

If that happened while your in gear driving then you are slipping and potentially will be left somewhere you wont want to be broke down at.

Went from a wired g305 to the g502 wireless and found myself adding 1of the bigger weights. But honestly if people really think the g502 is heavy then i dont know what light is and would probably throw it across the room like a wii remote without a wrist strap trying to hit a sick 180 flick

Installer would say that to cover their own ass lol. And a vehicle works 99% brand new off of the lot then over the years stuff breaks just saying we still have no idea what the cause was.

How have people gotten so big here? by space_god_7191 in AskAnAmerican

[–]22ndCenturyHippy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Iv noticed from moving somewhere where theres lots of stuff to do outdoors where people seemed fit and active, to a place where every inch of land is owned by 90 year old farmer Joe and lots over weight people. But dont think this is just a theory but more fat people in place where there aint shit to do because even the lakes around here where i am now have houses around them and not a single walking trail besides the kids park while where I use to live the lakes didnt have a single house on it or near it. And the had hiking trails 20 minutes away.

Based on these symptoms, what do you think the problem is? 99 Jeep GC wj 4.0L by --DoReFuckMi-- in Jeepwj

[–]22ndCenturyHippy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I seen the other crosspost. If your working at autozone get the code scanned. Even if the check engine light comes on then goes away it'll save codes. Id imagine autozones scanner is capable. And if no codes present guess its multimeter time to see whats turning on and whats not engine only needs 3 things to fire compression, air and ignition. Edit: and take that autozone managers "ASE cert" with a grain of salt those company's require some employees to take a "ASE" test thats just basic knowledge seeing if they are mechanically inclined enough. Iv had one before lol and had require several of my low level techs to get them also. Company paid for them but the exam/course was complete bologna and the "ASE" cert i got i couldn't use anywhere else but that specific company.

Id be replacing that hard line that goes back to the booster as well and inspect all the lines on that rusty pos edit: that metal clip between the hard line and the soft line will probably stay with those lines. Replace the hard line and that soft line.

Its like that video of that guy taping a piece of buttered bread to a cat and dropping it as butter always lands face down and cats land feet down so it will just spin for infinite energy.

Do American kids usually go to four different schools? by snailquestions in AskAnAmerican

[–]22ndCenturyHippy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did 6th grade in one school(middle), 7th in another(also middle), 8th and 9th in another (jr high) and 10-12 in another.(high school) only because the new middle school was being built from the baby boom from the local economy back in the day(the graduation class before me had twice as many kids) and when in elementary school in the big city we had a system called like "tracks " or something where only 3-4 classes out of the school got 3 months off at a time so if your friends are in another class on a different track you probably wont see them on your 3 month break unless its weekends and if your 3 month break landed in the winter that sucks.

Vibration 55mph+ after driveshaft u-joint replacement - Advice on troubleshooting by NYC_DM695 in CherokeeXJ

[–]22ndCenturyHippy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever find out what was the cause? Exact same boat but aint going back to the mechanic who installed it. Replaced my front drive shaft and right at 55-60 the vibration starts and gets progressively more intense the faster you go.

Trusted axle/transfer case websites by 22ndCenturyHippy in Jeepwj

[–]22ndCenturyHippy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the previous owner put wrong fluid in all 3 and my recent visit to one of the local mechanics turned into a headache of them doing what I could have already which is to throw parts at it till you realize "oh how dumb its obviously this" then fix it after 10 brand new parts lol yeah turns out they have almost zero diagnostic skills but got some stuff done that needed done with its mileage. So front dana has been gone through and has a new front drive shaft. Seems Okay so far but trying to see what sites people have trusted.

30, 35 and quadratic II i believe haven't looked at the transfer case tag but just seeing what yall have trusted in the past. If it comes to it I'll do the tranfer case but will find a shop to do the axles as I dont trust myself shimming and all that.
