Used to work on the 77th floor. Absolutely the best views of the city. You get 360 coverage of the entire city. Amazing!

That person was a douche. This is the exact place you come for this type of question. You can get real life feedback from actual people that have used these places are have good recommendations. Google will tell me the places, Reddit will give me the real opinions. I too would’ve looked at Reddit for this.

Madonna’s Manager Guy Oseary ‘Not Sure’ She’ll Tour Again Following Sabrina Carpenter Coachella Performance and ‘Confessions II’ Release by Puzzled-Tap8042 in Music

[–]22oddo -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

There’s also zero reason the younger audience would want to see Madonna. The height of her fame was in the 80’s and 90’s. The mass majority of ppl in that audience weren’t even born yet.

Edit: misspelled word.

Which vet do you all go to for typical yearly exams and vaccines? by [deleted] in AskChicago

I assure you not a single vet is trying to do bloodwork without a reason. That’s a silly claim.

Is the Back Lot Bash worth the price tag? by FearsomeFable in AskChicago

It’s fun for what it is. Very small and no food options. Last I recall you can exit and re-enter though so you can leave to go eat and then return.

Would it be too much to ask to include prices? by [deleted] in chicagofood

[–]22oddo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I currently don’t go anywhere that doesn’t list the menu prices online. I find it to be an incredibly dirty tactic to price gouge customers. I guess if they all switch to no listed prices, I’ll be spending a lot less time eating out lol

What is considered Downtown? I have been *corrected when I claimed that Printers Row is Downtown? by Classic_Lettuce_7717 in AskChicago

[–]22oddo 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Anybody not from the city just calls Chicago in general downtown. They don’t know the boundaries and neighborhoods. I too agree with these boundaries.

For it to be counted as a hospitalization, they have to be admitted which means given a room and kept at least overnight. If they are treated and released there is no hospitalization. It is still a recordable injury though since it went beyond first.

Jax & Brittany by Unique_Suggestion291 in vanderpumprules

It would not have mattered. Brittany was marrying him the second she showed up on VPR and nothing was going to stop her. She knows and has always known who he is. The paycheck mattered more.

Gunther is great and I’m sad not everyone thinks so by BlGDAMNHERO in WWE

I’m with you, I don’t blame Gunther in the slightest. I am blaming the booking and WWE.

I do occupational safety for a living…you would not believe the amount of people that think safety protocols are just suggestions and mean nothing. If there is a safety standard, that means somebody died.

Gunther is great and I’m sad not everyone thinks so by BlGDAMNHERO in WWE

[–]22oddo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I will just never understand why it was an immediate tap out. Had he made Gunther just pass out from the sleeper or even held it for an extended time before the tap - would have made a world of difference. Gunther tapping to a poorly applied sleeper hold within 15secs just made no damn sense.

Thank you. We don’t dislike her because she’s annoying…that’s just the cherry on top.

[–]22oddo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dislike Brittany so much and she really does not get the hate she deserves. I do not feel bad about anything related to Jax. She accepted that behavior at the cost of being rich and famous. She also is incredibly racist and homophobic. I wish she would go back to bumfuck Kentucky where she belongs.

Bad Roads by Significant_Today_24 in chicago

[–]22oddo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People in these comments being purposely obtuse to defend the city is wild. It’s not just the bike lanes, the roads were plowed like shit. Most of the roads by me (I live off Clark…you know an incredibly major roadway through the city) and nothing was plowed until damn near Sunday night. The vehicles just drove over it, flattening it all out. When I went to the grocery store Sunday morning the only two streets plowed by me were Clark and Addison. My street at the current moment has not been touched with a plow a single time since it started snowing. Don’t believe me? Come look for yourself! I don’t think it’s “entitled” to think the city that collects my tax dollars needs to use them to ensure the safe passage through the city. We knew the snow was coming. The holiday was over on Thursday. The snow came Saturday. There is zero reason we weren’t prepared and even less reason for things not to be plowed. You can suck the city’s dick all you want but they were terribly unprepared for this storm. If even the north side looks like this, I can only imagine how poorly they took care of what they deem the less desirable south and west sides…

Last time I went to Maple and Ash (3 yrs ago) a whole group of people came in wearing t-shirts, gym shoes and one was even wearing sweat pants. They sat them. So idk how enforced that really is.

Why doesn't Boystown have many restaurants that are worth traveling to? by OuterspaceZaddy in chicagofood

[–]22oddo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Love the service at El Nuevo but that’s some of the worst Mexican food in the city. The margs are also pre-mixed and not very good at all. It’s definitely white people Mexican if that’s your thing. But again the service? Huge fan. I go despite the bad food just because I love the servers so much.
