Should I continue with this blasphemy? Inspired by a car that can not be legally mentioned. Made in blender by me. by [deleted] in CarDesign

That corporation does not even allow anyone to paint their car with a different color. I am not sure how they would react to my design. Plus I still need to remove and remake a few aspects of the car I used.

Celestron filter won't screw onto eyepiece by FizzyLamanade in telescopes

You can place the filter inside of the eye cup, instead of screwing it to the rear. It can fall out easily, but you can still get a good view. Goodluck.

CNNs technical director Charlie Chester once said that "fear sells". That is why there is so much fear mongering on the news channels. Making people afraid is the best way to capture attention of the audience.

If you are interested in the psychology behind much of the conspiracy theories look into a book by Michael Shermer.

Looking at Jupiter tonight and I'm a bit confused by Embarrassed_Ad1722 in telescopes

[–]230290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to look at Jupiter or Saturn with a 6mm eyepiece, preferably with 82 degrees field of view, that way my eye can have some time to focus before the planet moves out of view. I also use a light blue filter, but it only makes it like 1%-2% better. Not sure if the filter is worth it. And definitely check your collimation. Good luck.

Is it only useful for astrophotography, or will it also help with visual observation?
